2 questions for you guys today...ok 3

1) Do you know of the manga/anime Prince of tennis. If you do please poste your favorite character.

2) Is there a Prince of Tennis group? (P.O.T) <==== LOL

3) do you guys know any good/working links where i can watch/read all the anime/manga 's
 
I've only seen a couple of episodes of Prince of Tennis. I'm not really into anime/manga but I watched it because it was tennis related and one of my friends was always referring to it so I had to find out what the Hades he was talking about :-)
 
I could see how preteens could like it. But how an adult could sit through a whole episode of it is beyond me.

Trust me bro, there are alot of weird and confused people in this world. I try my best not to be consumed with this anime. It's a great anime and all, but i really need to grow up.
 
I've seen more than 50 eps of the series before deciding to watch other anime series instead. Maybe because it's so dated that they talk of Ryoma Echizen's kick serve as if it's the ultimate secret weapon and only he can do it. Plus the tennis shots are so gimmicky that they defy the laws of physics and as a scientist, I can't have that. :p

You can download the episodes via torrent files. Just be prepared to wait a while.

Yes. It's entertaining, but don't expect much realism on the tennis end. The practice of playing tennis in the anime is very metaphoric, and it just gets worse as the series progresses. ;) My favorite character is Ibu Shinji.

Just find an manga/anime group. Chances are good you'll find some prince of tennis fans.

Yes, but I can't give them to you because both the anime and the manga have been licensed and any links to significant amounts of either would be to illegal content. But it's not hard to find this stuff with google and an appropriate search string.
 
my brother has all 190 episodes or whatever it is, and i still have only seen like 2 episodes. but i saw the live action movie. it was hiliarous lol
 
Man, i don't like that anime but nyway i watch it for the sake of it.

Everything is exaggerated like the 'hadoukyuu' when you return it, ur feet slide back (pfft we have NEVER seen that happen in pro tennis)

nyway i like nanjirou echizen and Kikumaru
 
why do people expect realism from it? its an anime, they exaggerate everything for the purpose of entertainment
its very cheesy at times but you get used to it after a few episodes. lol

How old are you btw? Anime seem to be very popular at the moment, and their storylines are not limited for just preteens. I'm sure there's one out there that even you would appreciate. Open your eyes.
 
I should take some clip and show all of you guy my signature moves: The Hurricane and the Tornado (you get the picture of the ball spin). LOL! its a slice that hit low ball thats side spin and then its fly back at you twist (not twist in the opposite but the same as it spin). Again this is a real shot not fake! So i'll first slice a low ball at my oppentment then if he slice back then he's setting me up to use it. Prince of Tennis is quite a good show to watch since its talk about technic and strategization that can be use in real life real situation.
 
this one reason i wanted to play to see how good i could
be the other tennis interested me. My favorite character probabily inui is hillaious when he makes everyone drinks
inui juice i use to like this anime a lot but i dont like it as much now.
 
I've watched the whole series twice as well as the movies, ovas, and the first few dub episodes.

Best characters are echizen and fuji imo. I like atobe towards the end as well as sengoku during the senbatsu arc.

Love the show!

i never saw one piece but bleach and naruto are overrated. I won't say i don't like them or they're not good, because they are and i do like them, but there are lots of animes out there that are much much better

haha, yeah thats true. i stopped watching naruto a while ago. I heard it got pretty good. yeah, theres ALOT more animes out there that are good like .hack and samurai champloo.
 
I've been watching Spice & Wolf, True Tears, and Mushi-shi.. and IMHO all three are MUCH better than Prince of Tennis. Bleach isn't actually too bad ATM.
 
Majority of the episodes are up on youtube.
The manga just google prince of tennis manga and it is the first link.
