Add a little lead at 3&9 and some weight in the handle of the ATS 98. It transforms itI heard Jim Courier say last night that Dimitrov is using a special custom made 18x18 racket since 2023, did he take inspiration from the prince synergy? He plays mains gut apparently at 25.9kg. I am tempted to get an ATS tour 100p racket, how is the feel on this frame? I would have liked one in grey but they look sold out now unfortunately. I am wondering on the feel of the ATS compared to the feel of the ATS 98, which is ok but i think i prefer the feel of the older 2015 & 2019 Prince tour 100p frames but the ATS 98 os probably a touch more comfortable.
it would be nice if they just extended it to... all the tours let alone the phantomsThe black carbon looks nice. Too bad they didn't use this for the new Phantoms:
Anyone knows black version will be available in Europe?
I have both and to me the ATS feels just a tad bit softer, but ultimately it felt practically the same, the change was mostly cosmetic.to anyone who tried both Tour 290 grams (back/green vs white ATS), how you can compare? thks
Thanks for your thoughs.I have both and to me the ATS feels just a tad bit softer, but ultimately it felt practically the same, the change was mostly cosmetic.
ATS 98 and Speed MP Aux. 1.0 are day and night different.Anybody can compare ATS Tour 98 to 2022 Speed Pro/MP?Iminteresting in launch angle difference, stability and comfort.
where do they sell them ?got a synergy coming! hopefully this is the one. love the geometry!
Does Prince just give him free gear? I assume he doesn't have a real deal since no stencil.Pouille with the latest carbon paintjob on his 100p up close

Not sure, they don't make the 100p in the carbon paint so obviously they are supplying him with gear, but he's been playing with the old green paint for a long time so perhaps there's been a recent new development - not sure if @Prince Tennis Official can elucidateDoes Prince just give him free gear? I assume it's how they know he's playing with the 2019 versionNot sure, they don't make the 100p in the carbon paint so obviously they are supplying him with gear, but he's been playing with the old green paint for a long time so perhaps there's been a recent new development - not sure if @Prince Tennis Official can elucidate
Got one on the fleabaywhere do they sell them ?
let us know how you get onGot one on the fleabay
This will be interesting. Jonas loved the Ripstick carrying it around in his bag and mentioning multiple times as a very fun stick.let us know how you get on
I have just got a rip stick 300 , what’s that like ?
Should be interesting what tension would you put Tour bite soft in it 1.25 ?This will be interesting. Jonas loved the Ripstick carrying it around in his bag and mentioning multiple times as a very fun stick.
I've only played a Tour 100 O Port and a Tattoo one. It took me a few good 10 minutes to get used to the whistling sound of the
Thank you very differnt to the synergy ?Played both.
The ATS98 is more like a Blade, you know. It's got some flex in the 20mm throat, but then gives more than enough power because of the 23mm hoop.
I'd actually prefer a constant 22 or at least a 22-22-20 beam.
The 23mm is one of the reasons I'd pick the 290 gram 100sq inch as a platform racket.
Strangely, the white colour and the 23mm hoop makes the racket seem a bit too thick for a 98 and at the same time the hoop is quite narrow compared to my Blade V5 (smaller sweet spot)
It‘s sad about the lack of an ATS 95 in Carbon, but again, my wallet thanks me.Pouille with the latest carbon paintjob on his 100p up close

Can’t check right now, but if I recall correctly, the TW podcast about the ATS Tours compares the 98 to the Synergy at some pointThank you very differnt to the synergy ?
Totally different sensation upon contact and overall playability.Thank you very differnt to the synergy ?
Okie will stick to rip stick as a fun stick not sure how long your bite soft will last in it though , maybe your sniper may be better but not strung as high … ?Totally different sensation upon contact and overall playability.
Personally, I wouldn't stick to the ATS98 without trying the 290 gram 16x18 100 sq inch model with some lead.
Exactly looking at the specs, it is a Prince version of Ezone 98.Not an ATS Tour 98 and Synergy comparison, but I demoed the Tour 98 after seeing someone mention it was TW's highest rated racquet. It was ok, I could see why some felt it had great maneuverability while others thought it was sluggish. Though the beam is only 23mm thick, it gets a bit wide at the top of the hoop around where the ATS tech is supposed to be. It's also kind of wide through the throat, which might just be an illusion w/ the box shape.
Spec wise, it's right in my wheelhouse. A 98sq in, 16x19 racquet, 320-330 swing weight, so I was super intrigued. It played clubby (which is something I realize that Troy said on the TW pod about this racquet), and reminded me a lot of the Ezone 98, which I also describe a lot as clubby. When I went back to watch my replay, I was most surprised at the net clearance, b/c I thought the launch angle was lower in real-time.
The ATS tour 98 is a nice playing stick but has a box beam frame like the older prestige frames only a little thicker. It still has a nice degree of control, it swings nicely but lacks in top end power even when hitting pretty hard with it. Its on the softer side of things stiffness wise and i felt it was pretty easy to use. It volleys very well and felt very stable generally speaking. I think with different string set ups you can tweak it even more but i am not sure many higher level players would use it as a few of the other frames out there i feel give a little bit more.Exactly looking at the specs, it is a Prince version of Ezone 98.
They've only been out 2 years and Prince are not Head... 2019 to 2022 is 4 years sooo... idk 2026Just curious if anyone know when the new tour line is out due out
thats 3 years. so in a few months they might come out with a new tour lineThey've only been out 2 years and Prince are not Head... 2019 to 2022 is 4 years sooo... idk 2026
Earlier in this thread the official account made it seem like a Tour line update is not exactly around the corner. Ripstick and Ripcord are getting updates in (early?) 2025 though, which I think would be a 4 year gap. There was a 4 year gap between 2015 tours and 2019 tours, and if I recall correctly the 2019 tours actually were more like late 2018, so it was about a 3.5 year gap. I'm excited for new Tour hype but honestly I don't know what I want Prince to do with them.thats 3 years. so in a few months they might come out with a new tour line
2019 (reviewed December 2018 so yeah late 2018), 2020, 2021, 2022 - so 3.5 years - Prince aren't as big a concern as the companies updating their lines every 2 years and probably smaller now than they were then and still sponsoring players like Pouille etc... so expect a longer gap between frames... I'd expect 2026 still or late 2025thats 3 years. so in a few months they might come out with a new tour line
More surprised the 100 (310) wasn't as well! Can't believe that the TT95 ATS wasn't included, it seems like a no brainer; consequently my money stays in my pocket, and I'll keep enjoying my extended 2015 TT95 and ATS 95.
Don’t know why they prob produce the best racquets of all the companiesPrince give up on this thread again? After like 4 years it was nice to see them again and they left even faster this time.
