Here’s the question are we able to order from the Japanese website and have it shipped to the United States? @dsp9753 @konstantinos kalfountzos
I'd need the updated version to demo. Current Beast is an obsolete model compared to Japan (parallel drilling and new dampening technology throughout not only the handle, but also part of the throat). Westworld Phantom is 2 years behind the new cosmetics, so why pay the full-price when there've been 2 years behind the updated version.Thats why a great demo system is the solution
for retailers, no.Here’s the question are we able to order from the Japanese website and have it shipped to the United States? @dsp9753 @konstantinos kalfountzos
The previous, full red-wine glossy Beast is now listed for ¥19,250 which is 120€. One would need a third-courier party which is mentioned somewhere above. I bet the process wouldn't be any hard to follow-up, but personally I can't be sure about any extra customs/importing costs (+ delivery dates). Here’s the question are we able to order from the Japanese website and have it shipped to the United States? @dsp9753 @konstantinos kalfountzos
though the japanese line has been updated more recently, the cosmetics in japan are not "ahead" of the us. they are different. the previous line of japanese phantoms did not look like the us models. the japanese and us phantoms are similar but separate lines.Westworld Phantom is 2 years behind the new cosmetics, so why pay the full-price when there've been 2 years behind the updated version.
* I don't see a 18*20 Phantom 100X in Prince Japan
Even though cosmetics is not the most important update (I won't accept someone liking the black coloured Beast over the glossy red wine), specifically our Beasts and Phantoms haven't updated to the parallel drilling. The latest red-orange Beast also comes with some "new dampening tech" extending into the throat. New 18*20 Phantom is absent in the Japanese websitethough the japanese line has been updated more recently, the cosmetics in japan are not "ahead" of the us. they are different. the previous line of japanese phantoms did not look like the us models. the japanese and us phantoms are similar but separate lines.
Not even english subtitles how am I supposed to watch lolType "Prince Beast" on YouTube and choose "this month" or "this year" from the filters and voila:
But, look at those, previous gen-glossy Beasts!
2-year-old Phantom with glossy blue colour:
Love this PJ posted it in the holic thread!! Sooooo gooood, lucky you!Bought this on an auction site for cheap it was like almost new. The user said he regularly gets racquets from Japan with shopping services and there is no problem for the regular consumer, only retailers. He said he tests so many racquets and this one was one of his faves. This playing amazing ! it's the x100 regular, but I have added some weight in the handle to spec it up to tour level. What an amazing stick, this apparently has twaron and also foam ? Looking forward to the 98 version, which i will order sometime next year after official release !! Tested on euro clay at Melbourne park.

The PVS (dampening tech) appears to be Japan-only, as it made it into the Prince Japan ATS tours but not the US tours. Many of the Japanese racquets also have different throat grommets and have had them for years. As far as I know, Prince Japan has never had an 18*20 phantom. I think the Beast line is over outside of Japan, but I could be wrong.Even though cosmetics is not the most important update (I won't accept someone liking the black coloured Beast over the glossy red wine), specifically our Beasts and Phantoms haven't updated to the parallel drilling. Because the feel is awesome. Love the twaron feel, very connected to the shots. Mid 60's ra easy put away power, and great for defense. On the backhand you can easily redirectballs with depth being in a defensive position. It serves absolute bombs, literally. 16x18, but plays with precision of an 18x20. Super comfortable and whatever the twist tech is, it works !Why amazing?
I’m with you. I have the tour. Not only is it the most gorgeous racket in the world, but it really play soft to the touch with precision and feel and powerBecause the feel is awesome. I don’t know if the regular version has foam. Because on the current Tennis Warehouse site, the current version is different from the tour to non-tour. The tour has foam, and the non-tour does not have foamBought this on an auction site for cheap it was like almost new. Yes, the Japanese website says foam is only in the 98 Tour and 100 TourI don’t know if the regular version has foam. Because on the current Tennis Warehouse site, the current version is different from the tour to non-tour. The tour has foam, and the non-tour does not have foam
You can activate English subtitles on all these clips. First, activate subtitles that will be Japanese and then go to the "gear" icon and choose "automatic translation" in English. Not even english subtitles how am I supposed to watch lol
Huh its not giving me an auto translation option after turning on japanese subtitles its just the same lack of options as beforeYou can activate English subtitles on all these clips. First, enable the japanese subs and then go to the next icon (gear). At the place the yellow arrow points at, you can choose English. This traslates the already activated Japanese to English.Huh its not giving me an auto translation option after turning on japanese subtitles its just the same lack of options as before
Don't count on the auto translation in video. Japanese is really hard to translate, I would say even more so than Chinese. The English subtitle produced will confuse you (or makes you laugh so hard your brain lacks oxygen) more than give you the information you need.First, enable the japanese subs and then go to the next icon (gear). I spy with my little eye a Ripstick. Is it Clash/TF-X1 300 launchy? I mean, at your usual tension of polyester full-bed, is it too powerful?Don't count on the auto translation in video. Looks stunning man! I've come across 2 of the 290gram versions. They are not glossy, but will check if they're still available to consider.
so this is when art meets design. this is now my new stick of choice. but also a work of art. the way Prince has morphed the matt throat into the gloss hoop is simply racquet perfection.
also this is the only stick in current production that has a separate version for lefties. thats because of the way the throat is shaped. the throat is twisted as you can see. this helps with comfort and aero maneuverability. but because its twisted in one direction, the aero feature only works for a right hander in my example. a leftie would have to purchase the leftie model for his aero path. they are available on the prince japan website. not here yet. but a very interesting little tid bit. bravo Prince. the true innovators of our sport.

It's gonna be 98 instead of 97.Hopefully we will get the Tour version in 100 and 97 in Europe this year.
For newcomers to the sport, I think that Prince's cosmetics and unique molds can attract some some candidate buyers.I wonder if it's marketing...and even if it isn't, will it really matter.
I have, but very briefly. Something like a total of 1.5 hours with beginner hitting partners. Can't be conclusive. A friend gave it to me to give it a try.Anybody swinging one of the new Vortex?
Prince sales are big enough to continue making awesome frames. They are big in JP and have a solid backing with TW. I think you are right regarding the marketing. Could they become bigger? Absolutely, but seems like they are contempt. Makes you think though would they be this innovative if say they had multiple top ten players on tour.I wonder if it's marketing...and even if it isn't, will it really matter.
I haven't found any other reviews here on the forum, and scant other reviews aside from TW's own. Sure, i'd love to hear about it if you get the chance. Love my Synergy, but am intrigued by the Vortex and the Twistpower. Well, also by the Tour 98, since that was so highly touted by TW testers.I have, but very briefly. Huge sweet-spot. MSV focus hex didn't fit it well, I think. I may be able to get my hands on it again, if anyone is interested for a quick review.
Edit: a friend is sending me an O3 Tour to try along with a 26inch juniors racket for my nephew (next-gen Bublik).

The Vortexes periodically go on sale for as low as $49. Wouldn’t be surprised to see huge savings on them at some point this holiday season.I haven't found any other reviews here on the forum, and scant other reviews aside from TW's own. Right. I almost jumped on it the last sale, but got a second Synergy instead. The Vortexes periodically go on sale for as low as $49. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them huge savings on them at some point this holiday season.
is this the newest Japanese Phantom?
