Haha. They love exclusivity. If American frames are more exclusive over there, then yes.do you think there a bunch of japanese dudes that wish Japan carried the american prince frames?

Power level 1100? Wow! I thought Phantoms PL's would top off at around 900.
No, sry.Could anyone help with comparison between TT 290 vs the ATS vs the TP 100x 290? Thanks .
WTH! Colorway is an abomination.Prince tour 98 (2023) Version freshly arrived from JPN.
I like that look a lot more than the one that got released in other markets. It's cleaner without the spearmint and black.

Prince seem to have implemented parallel drilling in most of their updates (2 years in the past for us).
Prince tour 98 (2023) Version freshly arrived from JPN.
The Prince Japan tour 98 is not an update, but rather the Japanese version of the ATS 98 released in the same year as the racquet TW carries. There was no ATS 98 in Japan prior to,the current model. The lack of parallel drilling in th US/global models could have been a choice related to feel, as the Japanese ATS 95 also does not have it.Prince seem to have implemented parallel drilling in most of their updates (2 years in the past for us).
The Japanese version has "increased repulsion".. explains why opponents stay far behind the baseline.Again, from the Japan Prince website:
TW may not sell left handed models, but they DO exist (or soon will...)
X 100 TOUR LEFT
¥ 46,200(tax included)
Released in late February 2024
A full model change with the addition of Textream x Twaron technology and ATS to the triple tube technology "X100 TOUR".
A model with excellent power and spin for competition-oriented players with extremely high surface rigidity and increased repulsion.
*All racket images are for right-handed players (7TJ216). For left-handed players, the shafts overlap in the opposite way.
Yo dawg are ya hittin' with it? Let us know how it hits, dawwwggg

She's a beauty!Synergy 98 arrived today. I'll most probably hit with it in about two weeks from now. I'll share feedback.
Edit: strang it up with Isospeed Grey Fire 1.25 at 22kg. I will give it to a friend to hit with until I get back into playing in about 2 weeks.
Paintjob quality is great! Not the kind of cheap paint-finishes I came across a lot this year with various well-known rackets. Still, Babolat Pure Strive VS is the best looking racket for me, but felt "hollow" and caused me soreness.
Forgot to measure the unstrung weight to check how good the QC is. Will do next time.
The 4 central mains are quite tight. 4th - 7th is a bit semi-open.
All the crosses seem to have the same gap between them. Semi-open gaps.
I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this to add to my Prince collection lol.Prince Warrior 100 (black and white) for 59$!!!

Haha I would have ordered one but I did not like the twist power nor the beast. Too much pop to them!Still no one has tried the newly released twistpower? Or beast 2024? Or emblem?
I hope this means the previous model will have a hefty sale soon.

You are correct. I checked and the Tour series in Japan does not have parallel drilling, whereas the phantoms and beasts do.I dont have a US Prince tour 98 on hand to compare to and it’s been awhile since I have last used one. But the phantoms are definitely different from the US and JPN versions.
From pictures, it looks like the grommets/holes on my JPN Tour 98 looks identical to the US one?
the previous Prince Japan ATS Tours went on sale a long time ago. The US ATS tour is not a previous model but the current modelI hope this means the previous model will have a hefty sale soon.
Why is parallel drilling important? Better sweetspot? You are correct. I checked and the Tour series in Japan does not have parallel drilling, whereas the phantoms and beasts do.
I think that is the idea, but i think it also may create less feedback. I do not think it is a particularly important feature. Why is parallel drilling important? Better sweetspot?

The 320-gram unstrung weight has kept me away from this. Unfortunately, most brands release these 18*20 with too heavy unstrung specs. A Phantom is on my to-do list, but it will have to be the 16*18, if it's not too open. Don't want to go at Prestige MP 18*19 2021 heavy specs and too evenly balanced with too small margin for customization.Grabbed an older phantom 18x20 during the 30off sale. Haven’t been able to put it down! Such a good frame. Got a gravity pro in the way to compare.
It is on the heavier side but the thin beam and moderate swing weight-292 unstrung-make it easy to swing. I have pros pro syn gut in it also. The 320-gram unstrung weight has kept me away from this. I asked a friend and member of this forum from Greece if he had any kid's 25 or 26 inch racket for sale, because I'm gonna start playing tennis with my 8-year-old and Bublik-alike nephew and he's sending me one for free and also a Prince O3 Tour to try! I'll give props once I hit with it. December will be Synergy 98 and that O3 racket for me.It is on the heavier side but the thin beam and moderate swing weight-292 unstrung-make it easy to swing. Just received a reply from TW that the 93P is discontinued. New model coming or is it dead?
TW said they are not bringing the 93p back in the future. It dead
What a sad sad, sad sad day it is.sad to hear. fortunately, 93p fans can probably pick up a decades-long supply while they are still on the market
Lol I dunno but it reminds me about thinking of if a dog wonders "what happens if I never find out if I'm a good boy?"do you think there a bunch of japanese dudes that wish Japan carried the american prince frames?
They should fit but check the throat grommet where it goes on the yoke. Does it come apart in two plastic pieces? That's a specific feature only on certain Japanese Prince models to increase comfort slightlyI dont have a US Prince tour 98 on hand to compare to and it’s been awhile since I have last used one. The ATS gen is much better than the org due to the Twaron in the hoop, Twistpower is much different than either, less stable, more power and spin. Haven't tried those exact models thoughCould anyone help with comparison between TT 290 vs the ATS vs the TP 100x 290? Thanks .
What about this do you specifically like or don't like? Or want are you wanting out of it?Another Prince sale at TW - wish they dropped the Twistpower x100 a little deeper. I'm curious about this racquet, but not curious enough to pull the trigger at the current price lol.
Might even be an even split this time lol due to the mains usually being longer than crosses, but can't help since I don't have firsthand experience sorryQUESTION FOR PRINCE REPRESENTATIVE:
For stringing up the Vortex, do you have a guideline for how long each part of a two piece string job should be? I would imagine with only 14 mains, but 21 crosses that it likely isn't just an even split on a standard set of strings?
Honestly, just want to add to my Prince collection. I sniped the Phantom 100x 290 a few months ago for a discount and ended up loving it despite never demoing or doing too much research into it. Now I'm looking to give Prince another try when the deep discount hits again. Btw I'm back for now for anyone who remembers seeing a familiar sounding username in the past hah

Is it the Phantom Pro 100 or 100x 18x20?Grabbed an older phantom 18x20 during the 30off sale. Haven’t been able to put it down! Such a good frame. Got a gravity pro in the way to compare.
The older black/green one. The Pro I believe. Is it the Phantom Pro 100 or 100x 18x20?
Yeah that's fair, I've done that a few times before with Prince.Honestly, just want to add to my Prince collection. Nah, I didn't pull for any new racquets over the weekend (but I did pull the trigger on the Prince Venom since I like the while/teal color scheme). I was hoping for the Twistpower or the 2022 ATS to go on a double digit discount like during the Prince Flash Sale a few months ago, but gonna hold for now since I'm enjoying my P100x 290 (I lowkey regret not buying a second one during the sale...).Yeah that's fair, I've done that a few times before with Prince.
Actually I did that with the Twistpower haha, but the 100 Tour version. It is unique and obviously not quite like anything else on the market. I knew I probably didn't want to switch to it but wanted to try it at least, but the price never quite got to where I wanted it at the right time.
I saw that Prince Japan had released a 2nd gen model last year with Twaron and the ATS but it was only the 100 model and I waited a year for them to release the 97, but I never heard or saw anything. So I grabbed one of the last 1st gen 100 Tours available at a good price..... then Prince Japan announced the 98 shortly after lol. Paintjob is worse for me than the 2nd gen 100 at least, had rather they kept the 97 headsize if it's more stable and powerful than the all black Twistpower 97.
I shied away from it for a long time because I was worried it wasn't maneuverable enough in the throat for me or too bulky, but the racquet almost disappears for a moment on a swing where the shaft twists, it's only a small portion and not big but noticeable for me.
Were you able to find a good discount over the weekend?
Haha there have been a couple cosmetics for other racquet sports that I wish were on tennis racquets insteadNah, I didn't pull for any new racquets over the weekend (but I did pull the trigger on the Prince Venom since I like the while/teal color scheme). My P100X 290 is my first Prince racquet coming from Babolat and then Wilson and I have to say I'm a huge fan now and looking forward to trying out all they have to offer. Definitely one of those happy coincidence moments pulling the trigger on this on a whim.Haha there have been a couple cosmetics for other racquet sports that I wish were on tennis racquets instead
Well that's healthy for the wallet at least. I think there are a few Phantom 100X 290s still around anyway on a good discount if you were willing to buy internationally, but might be worth it now to wait and see what they do next year for the Phantoms too
93P 14x18To all the Prince Fans out there, what is the best (or must try) racquet? (old or new)
I'm having a Prince phase right now using interchangeably -Synergy 98 -Phantom 100x (18x20) -TxT 310 (japan 2020) & TP97X....also have another Japanese Tour on the way but its a 95 this time.
what do I need to check out? or do you think ive already over done it? lol
was hoping there would be some decent black friday deals this year but it was quite bleak.
Both 93 phantoms. And the 107G.To all the Prince Fans out there, what is the best (or must try) racquet? (old or new)
