Prince Phantom 100x 320

I have recently measured a Prince Phantom 100X 320 18x20 raquet.
The strange thing is, it is 320 grams strung.

But it should be 320 grams unstrung.
How can the 20 grams difference in specs be caused?

The only difference I noticed is: when ordered, the raquet came with a Tecnifibre Wax Max tennisgrip,, instead of the normally used Prince ResiTex Tour.

The 100X 18x20 is 320g unstrung. The 100X 16x18 is 305g unstrung. I'd presuming you received the regular 305g 16x18 model.

The big difference in the static weight must mainly be due the Tecnifibre grip.
The original Prince Resitex Tour is a synthetic/leather mix grip that weighs as heavy as a regular leather grip (ca. 22-24 grams trimmed).
But then again yours is still about 10 grams lighter than the standard spec.

No it is the 18x20 version, it is written on the frame.
Gotcha.

20 g is a big amount, more than the difference in synthetic grips. That sounds way out of spec, which is unusual for Prince.

I bet it's a combo of both. I'm willing to bet the frame is a few grams under spec, and that, combined with the Tecnifibre grip potentially being 8-10g lighter than the ResiTex Tour, and boom. There's your difference.

So I guess the frame itself is actually very light then? Nearly like a Vcore Pro 100 (300 grams) ? (Vcore pro 100 = 300 (total weight) - 14 (grip weight) = 286)
(Prince 100x 320 = 320-24=296 but in my case probably around 290).

And a qood quality controlled Prince 100X 305 (which also should carry the ResiTex Tour) is even lighter then a Vcore Pro 100 (300 grams) when it would have a regular synthetic grip like the Vcore Pro 100?

Yeah, I've always found the actual hairpins of the 320g Phantoms to be pretty light, or at least light-feeling, mainly due to such head-light weight distribution. The 97P in particular is one of the lightest-feeling 320g frames I've ever used, and I've used a bunch of them. (Contrast that to something like a VCP/Percept 97D, which feels like a total beefcake in comparison).
