Chris gave a small sneak peak of this beauty on today's TW vlog
Ever since first hearing about this stick being in the making I've been very excited. Possible March release date (Indian Wells Masters time) as said on the vlog. I'm really hoping it is as close to a blackput as possible like shown in the vlog. Who else is excited about this racquet and a possible playtest? I absolutely cannot wait for March :D

possibly the diablo 93 mid racket, but renamed as phantom with textreme

Diablo 93 was 16x20 and this is 18x20. It also looks to be boxier than the Diablo and will probably have the 16mm throat.

Diablo 93 was my favorite feeling racquet of all time - I just couldn't win with it very often.

Yes very true about the beam. @TW Staff would you happen to know the beam thickness/thicknesses of this racquet? I've certainly been wondering about the beam thickness and if it's a straight beam or not.

Different mold - beam thickness for instance.

String pattern is not assigned to a mold. You could have any string pattern on a Diablo 93 mold, depends on you whether for you a different string pattern would make it an entirely different frame.

Kudos to Prince for doing this. From the new tweener Beast line to these Phantoms they are offering such a great range of racquets for different playing styles.

Yeah Prince is trying, but a 12+oz (I’m assuming unstrung) 93 is at the outer edge of the spectrum.

What about an 11.7oz 96-98”with a fairly tight 16x19 pattern?

Also, a 98” Beast (or 100p) in 18x20 and/or 16x19 around 11.4oz strung 4-6 Pts HL RA 64-65 would also fill a customer void.

The Textreme Tour 100P already fits your bill and available now.

The new Beasts are successors to the Warriors, but with Twaron.

The 100P is 100” and is heavier than this. I should have said 96-98. FYI- I know it’s slight, but there’s a difference between 96-98 and 99-100”.

A dense pattern on a midsize is not my cup of tea, but I know a lot of Head fans have been waiting for something like this.

I wanted the 27.5" Textreme Premier 110, but I refuse to pay ~$200.00 USD but cannot get a replacement bumper set.
The extra length just works for me .

The original PC600 93" 18x20 had a sub 60RA. Why did Prince make the new Phantom 93P with a low 60s RA? For more power? The PC600 was ultra low powered and only someone like Safin and Philippoussis could wield it effectively.

To be fair it'll have a thinner beam (I'm guessing) and remember that if it's a 93 it won't be the same as the 600 anyhow (unless they change something with the string pattern. Plus, I'm trusting Chris with saying it's meant to be similar, let's just wait and see how it plays :)

That might make sense because if I were to swing a 93" mid frame, I'd want the flex to be at the hoop and not at the throat.

For midplus frames, I prefer more flex at the throat, but if Prince makes both the hoop and throat stiff, then I'm at a loss why.

Considering TW was in on the development of this frame, I highly doubt it.

Ok. So some of us were already thinking the TW team have the best jobs going. Now they are getting to participate in the development of frames so they meet their wishes. Wow.

The good thing is that they aren't located in a nice sunny area with perfect tennis waether and great beaches. Hold on! They get that too!

They had a job posting a few months a few months back for web content editor + playtester. Dream opportunity, but I wasn't in position to apply for it :( Need to finish my uni degree.

And I kinda had to lol at Chris' comment on the vlog. Hopefully this is a racquet that the fans of the old Prestiges will enjoy.

I still hope the headshape is not as round as the previous 93s from Prince
Yeah - looks pretty round to me though - Prince likes them round, I guess. I have a graphite pro 93 and it's extremely round - so was the response 97. I liked it in some ways, but prefer an oval more, I think.
