Prince Phantom

Anyone know what the specs are going to be on the new Phantoms coming? I assume these Twaron versions will have a slight bump in stiffness like we saw in the Tour 100P? I'd love if my current Pro 100 was a tad stiffer and maybe even had an ever so slightly thicker beam.

The 97 looks interesting but has a slightly higher static weight than ideal for me, and for whatever reason I seem to prefer the round beams to box beams on the Prince Pros.

So the new phantoms are on their way and the clearance discounting has begun! I picked up a second Phantom 100 frame. My rackets are within 3g of each other when I weighed them strung. Am happy with the variance. Feared it would be a lot more!

Where are you seeing discounts?

Looks like TW's newest youtube video was a play-tester'd favorite equipment video, from Tennis Only in Australia and they whipped out the new 93P in hand and with TW stock images like in the reviews.

Yeah, Tennis Only threw in a sneaky peek of the new Phantom 93. I’m sure everyone has seen the pics floating around the board, but here it is.

Thank you.
As I "accidentally" picked up 4 Phantom 100 & a Phantom 100 Pro, I doubt I will try the 2020's. Since I finally figured out that as a 65+ player, these came out 25 years too late.
Now as to the refined Beast O3 104, whic I started using on hard courts, well as I have been often asked;
"How many frames does a player need ?
The answer as we all know;" At least one more !"

I Sent an email to Prince asking if there were any plans to re-issue the Classic Graphite 100. He said no, because Phantoms fill that void. But he did say they were discussing the possibility of a Phantom 100 with an old school stabilization bar!! Fingers crossed

To an extent I do agree. Pro 100p is pretty close to pcg100. Slight difference is textreme, beam width and string spacing.

The Japanese Prince tour frames have a model with the stabilizer bar. So its def possible!

Pics that was posted were pretty close to whatever version this "phantom x" is. Wow, wait a minute. This phantom 100x 18x20 has some pretty decent specs. If it has a crossbar, might be a good update to the PCG 100 with some room to modify?

It might have a "reflective effect" paintjob. Hi, it's me. Jster again.
