Prince racquets 2 knots or 4

If you want to play it safe, go with four knots. It allows the stringer to string the crosses from the top down unless he's really stupid. With a two piece pattern, if the stringer doesn't know what he's doing, he could end up stringing the crosses the bottom up.

If using the same string for mains and crosses, 2 knots is my preference. Anything else gets 4 knots. [ATW if required]

4 knots and two piece are the same thing

Doh! I meant two knots. Most stringers where I am are self taught or taught by other self taughters. USRA is unknown. Only USRA stringer I know of is one who works at a PGA Superstore, but turn around at that place takes forever.
