I´m looking for help. A friend of mine loves her old Prince Spectrum Comp 110 and the racket needs restringing. Unfortunately it needs new grommets as well, the old ones are in very bad condition.
Does anybody of you know, which grommets that are still available might fit?
your help is very much appreciated

Prince Spectrum Comp 110's go for very little on fleabay - you might find it easier to buy another one in good condition.

i´ve the white spectrum 110.

Do you know the real headsize of this? i´m asking because i also own a Graphite POWERFLEX 110 (batch made in argentina) and the head is noticiable bigger...
not sure, supposedly 107.

My friend collects white and yellow Spectrum, and Boron. I will try to compare the Spectrum with POG head size and shape this weekend

It is interesting to know Prince also made in Argentina. What other rackets made in Argentina?

thanks for all your answers. i´ve ordered pog grommets from TW and let you know if they fit.
i´m also considering buying one or more from that auction site.
i buy a lot of racquets from flea markets or garage sales and find it amazing what people sell or throw away. some of them i restring and give them to beginners at our club, so that they don´t have to buy expensive sports gear at a time when they often don´t even know whether the sport is for them.

finally, it´s the white spectrum comp not the yellow one.

I believe the headsize is 107, and that the POG OS grommets should fit. Awesome racquet. My first "decent" racquet when I was in HS, and still one of my all-time favorites. Bought one off the auction site a few years back just for sentimental purposes... I have not tried to replace the grommets since they are in good shape, but let us know how the Graphite OS grommets work :)

I´ve heard many times about the Prince Racquets produced here in Argentina, but actually never have the chance to find one until now.
I was told that Prince produced a couple of models in the mid 80's, like my Powerflex 110 (probably they produced the 90 too), the Tournament 110 and a few more composite racquets...
I will post pics later

i'm pretty sure the grommets and bumper for the POG OS do not fit in the spectrum comp 110. i tried once and couldn't get them to fit. sring spacing is off a bit. also, i don't think the spectrum comp is really 110 (107). it seems smaller to me than the POG.

i just strung my Spectrum comp 110...I will play with it today.
If someone is interested, i weighted the racquet too: 346grs (UNSTRUNG!)

Right now, with strings (17g poly) and 2 tourna grips weights 370grs and the balance is 32.5cm...a beast

Did they fit?
no, unfortunately they didn´t. sorry, it took me so long to answer, but since this was my first time replacing grommets, i tried for a long time to make them fit. talked to stringers, etc.
the pog grommets come in 4 pieces. the 2 side pieces and the one at the throat of the racquet fit, but the top portion was off. i am now trying single grommets. will post pictures of the strung racquet as soon as i made it work.
also i bought another spectrum comp yesterday on the bay:)
thanks again for everybodys help and input.
