I currently use the older Textreme 100p
It is definitely my favourite racquet so I'm considering this or the 100p.
Other racquets I have used over the past 6 or so years.
Wilson Ksurge.
Dunlop m5.0: Great manueverability but way too stiff.
Yonex AI 100: Loved it but felt like I could have more feel and control.
Yonex AI 98: Loved the feel but my serves felt weaker.
Babolat Pure Aero Tour: I hated the feel of this stick. Felt like a was hitting with a rocket powered tin can.
I love the feel and blend of control and power I get from the older Textreme 100p but am concerned what kind of change I should expect from the 16-18 string pattern as opposed to the 18-20 that I currently use with the 100p.
My level is 4.5
left handed counterpunching style I guess.
2 handed backhand.
Probably hit more flat than topspin. Especially backhand. I also have a reliable slice backhand.
What differences should I expect if I purchase this racquet? in comparison to the older 100p? (or the new 100p) based on the basic information I have given you.
Thanks.
