To me playtester Sean from TW summed it up the best. I quote from the review
"Although there were no standout 'wow' features during this playtest, the beauty of the Tour 310 lies in its tasteful balance of qualities. Easy power, spin and control were all there, but not in excessive amounts" Now this has been my exact experience. I bought this stick as soon as it came out. I played with it. I thought it was good but I kept demoing/trying other sticks.. However, every time i picked this one back up I appreciated more and more how good it was. So, I would not expect this stick to overwhelm anyone but as you play with it you appreciate how complete this stick is. Like
@danbrenner said also... there is no complete/fantastic/holy grail/the one stick. This is just a very solid one. Does everything very well. Does not have any weaknesses. Does not have a particularly one strong aspect either. The strength is "tasteful balance of qualities" as Sean put it.
@gvsbdisco - I personally also like to train with control oriented, lower power smaller headsize racquets as well (ie 93p, vcp97). Sometimes i do that a while and when I pick Tour 310 back up I really feel like I can play much better.. Tennis feels little easier.
@max - Yes launch angle will be decisively higher than 100p
