Prince Tournament Nylon 15L + ALU Power 138

I just tried this hybrid combination and I really really love it!!!! I strung my racquet with Prince Tournament Nylon 15L as the main string at 60 lbs. The cross string is Luxilon ALU Power 138 at 45 lbs.

The control, the spin is unbelievable... I can hit excessive top spin and the ball would drop in. My hitting partner keeps saying "right on the line". LOL it's ridiculous. Easy power and the bite on the ball just feels amazing. It feels like the ball sticks to the string bed like a glue and I can direct the ball easily.

The sound of the ball hit is so satisfying, especially on volleys and flat shots.The sound is deep and explosive but feels like butter.

I think the feel is very close to Natural Gut + ALU Power combo.

It feels very very comfortable too!

I think I will stick with this hybrid combo for a while now! So much feel, so much power!

I've been playing with it roughly a week (3 to 4 hours playing each day) and it still looks fresh. I guess thick gauge strings last longer than thinner one.

I often use thick 15L gauge in clients hybrids.

Prince Tournament, Gosen Pro Tuff, Toalson Synthetic tournament.

They're great as a cross for heavy string breaking hybrid players.

Especially Gosen Pro Tuff, it's quick slick too.

I also use them for string breakers with elbow and wrist problems.

The nylon stays straight all the time (keep in mind The tension is 60 lbs).

The ALU (45 lbs cross) moved a little bit but then somehow it straightened on its own.
