Prince tours 2026

definitely possible, just saying I would have expected some kind of middle ground RA difference between the 61 of the ATS Tour and the 66 of the 2019 Tour which Pouille supposedly used - given other racquets in the line are higher RA (like the Tour 98 went from 62 to 64), that suggests to me they made a choice to keep the 100P more flexible/controlled feeling while making others more crisp
I certainly don’t know for sure, and I agree the lower RA relative to the 100 and 98 would suggest it is more controlled. Looking forward to the reviews from fellow talk tennis members.

I was really bummed to not see a 95 available with this launch! I have been really looking forward to the new Tours, especially in the all black colors. I've seen the 95s on a few Japan sites, but not sure how to get my hands on some of those? I guess i will keep using the version 1 Black/green tour 95s until a new one comes out. Didn't really care for the version 2, a little stiffer. Version 3 felt great, but didn't really care for the white cosmetics. I am a life-long diehard Prince fan, started with the Prince Pro 90 in 1983, still serving and volleying old school tennis. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE launch the Tour 95, i need some new racquets!!!

The new 95 is forthcoming but still in the works, according to the recent interview with the head of racquet design at prince.

Darn it. Missed my opportunity to ask about the potential for reels of PLP

Edit: nvm! Submitted my question for today's AMA
If it’s not too much of a hassle could you ask about the future of prince premier touch and if it will ever be offered in reels again, thanks.

No problem, I will just have to stick to buying packs then. PPT is a better string than PLP in my opinion.
I have one set in stock need to try it out, do you play it full bed ? I think I remember that a 110 reel var around 100 Euro so not a cheap string.

I play it as a main with a poly cross. Closest multi to the feel of gut for me. It plays like an improved version of isospeed control classic.

The specs of the 100 310g and 100p pique my interest. Any thoughts on which would be better for OHBH? Thanks!
This is going to depend on what you prefer. I'm not a one-hander outside of messing around, but the weight distribution of the 310 makes me feel like it'd work well for what one-handers on here tend to look for, although the 100P isn't cumbersome by any means. On the other hand, one-handers tend to need to drive through the court and take the ball on the rise more, which the 100P feels a bit more natural at. But we're talking fine margins as the two models are basically tweaks on the same frame.

Thanks! I’m leaning towards 310g, but yes it seems like both would be suitable

The 310g is much better for a ohbh than 100p due to its more head light balance and the way the weight is distributed over the frame. I have played with both and have a ohbh.

I used the o3 Tour MP 16 x 18 310g for a long time and it could really knife a slice bh and could really dial in with it. Love the black gloss and orange of those ones due to similarity.

Looking forward to trying these and hoping the power is dialled up a bit. Liked the last Tour 100 310g 16 x 18 and agree with Tim from Princes sentiments on the podcast re string patterns not being the be all and end all.

I’ve struggled to dial-in my TFight 16 x 19 anywhere near as well as the o3 tour - it does have a lot higher power though to be fair

The Purple Toroline Collab looks amazing

They look great. Won't be able to get one here, so will continue hold onto my 2019 Tour 310.
For anyone watching the vid and concerned about the 16x18 string pattern, don't be. It's not launchy and the string spacing is pretty consistent throughout the stringbed. A great line of frames.

They certainly look great!(y)
Hopefully the 95 happens later in the year.
(I know they’re somewhat hamstrung with molds & apparently patterns etc. but the 98 will always be too much of a catapult for me, although I really like the collab , & while the 100s have more universal appeal I prefer 97/98s generally.)

Yeah the 16x18 is about pocketing and forgiveness, not like a mid-2010s extreme spin stick or anything. The consistent spacing is something I’ve really come to appreciate.

The purple one looks absolutely stellar!

See it shine in the Tennisnerd video at 08:28. What a beauty!

Very high likelyness to buy a purple 98 as my first Prince racket ever once this will be released.

Great job, Prince!

Yep played around with the ripcord xs, which is also a 16x18, for a demo and the ball pocketing was really noticeable in that frame. Actually felt really good so excited to try out the tour 100

I've just got a boom pro to try, I wonder how the Ripcord 98XS would play in comparison. Guess I will give the BoomPro a go and see from there. I want something that will be a back-up to my Gravity Pro's we I'm feeling like I'm a bit off and need some more on my shots and/or a bit more spin/margin for error.

Hit with the boom pro for a couple days when it first came out but haven't touched one since... IIRC it felt pretty good to hit with, more comfortable than the ripcord xs (not that the ripcord is not comfortable) but not nearly as good a feel on the ball. Also marginally less spinny maybe, don't recall that well at this point unfortunately.

HOLLY MOLLY! New tours are great, super!!

Got the demos of Tour 100s by chance! Testing out now. Main difference I see is the "Feel"; whatever has been done made the raquets feel solid and plush!

Not sure if the 100 310g will make me to switch from my current 2023 Aero 98, but my net game and forehands are easier with the Prince, especially in doubles.

I am jelling more with the 310 version than the 100P because of the string pattern.

Overall these are a MUST demo!

One thing I want to suggest for new people to the line, since the 310 is getting more anticipation this time around:

If this is like previous generations, you will want to stay on top of stringing. It's not a string sensitive racquet, but it has tended to go through strings faster than average. Especially if you're used to control frame stringbeds. So if you start out really liking it and then question the control or something, make sure you just try restringing it first. Maybe even go a pound or two higher than normal.

It's not an outright disadvantage, I think it's just a tradeoff. You get more out of the stringbed per shot, but that just means the gas tank runs out a bit faster.

I’ve played with the 2019 310 basically since then hit the market. Great racquet and they are pretty beat up. Would like to try the 290 because I’m 73 now.

Ahhh thought that the demos wouldn't be available until next week either so just ordered a demo package... Ill have to be part of the second set of demos then!

Yes the big advantage of Prince is (if uou’re not into aero spin) it doesn’t have these „Aero” features like Aero or Ezone. Just plain standard racket with connected feel.

I’ve got demos on the way of the 98 and 100. I haven’t hit a Prince frame since the O3 tour I used back in my college days. This new color way got me feeling all nostalgic because it reminds me a lot of those O3 tours, so couldn’t resist ordering a few to demo.

Bit late to the party and just brought myself a ATS Tour 98 Carbon. Wow can’t believe how good this racket is! Annoyed I didn’t try it sooner. Any comparisons between the new tour 98 and the ATS tour 98 would be appreciated. Trying to decide if to stock up on the ATS or get the new ones. I prefer the paint job of the new ones but other than that I’m wondering if anything else is an improvement? Thanks for any feedback.

I played with my ATS Tour 98 yesterday again. I love the stick. More power and spin than my Prestige, but still just as precise - how? :) I regret selling my Textreme 310 - I cant wait to see the reviews start coming in on the 100P vs 310 - I think I need to put one of these 2 into my collection.

Are the Prince 95 of the past a rounder shape or long main oval shape. Trying to Bush up on a ball with short cross strings is almost impossible for me. But I love 95's and the vcore 95 has a shape I just can't gel with. Almost a rectangle squash shape. Any other 95s past or present with roundish shape?

Current Tour 95 is a bit rounder and almost clash like. High spin.

Current prestige tour is a bit rounder than the previous as well but spin not as great.

I couldn't play with the Yonex 95, wasn't a fan of the weight distribution or head shape but no issue with these

How would you guys describe the previous Prince Tour compared to the T-Fight and the Speed for example? I'll demo the 98 and the 100p when it's available, can't wait to try them.
