Very interesting frame(sexacore??yep I know - hexa I would have chosen) , played much better than expected. Note the head size comparison with a 98 P. S. projectone 7 & the butt shot showing the six cores. Specs are a bit low for me (but very playable for most) but my wife has been playing great with it.The 16 x 19 string pattern is very open, producing a very nice spin (w/ the right swing) . Surprisingly maneuverable, very HL
but do they really need to be adding more cores?
I say no...add better customer services, quality and pricing that is consistent and more aggressively competitive ..

I clicked on this thread title thinking it was a tongue-in-cheek joke & not a serious thread.

What is up with Donnay & these cores? when will it stop?
What is up with the name for this core model? I seriously thought hexacore would have been the logical name.

Sweet looking frame. I'd be interested in a 100 sq in size for this though.

I'm waiting for the dual 12-core version with 512gb of RAM and fast solid-state disks and a battery-backed write cache. The comfort and plow-through on that baby will be amazing, not to mention the raw horsepower. I'm uncertain about the swing weight - could be too much...

Sexacore? Honestly?
I think because as we know.....sex-a-core.....(may) sells....lol...
yep I get it, crazy ...how many cores can you keep adding...
I would of when with a double marketing twist.
As we know now, anything i(phone) sells.
So make it.....iSexcore (maybe sneak in bluetooth and notifications)...lol
But honestly ....both my wife and I were very impressed, love the thin beam and even with a full bed of med stiff copoly (50lbs). very connected and arm friendly. great all around stick...
She is loving it also on serves too! you never know...
sexa-licious
sexa-ppeal
sexa-valent

Hey if it is iDonnay, they might throttle back the power so you have a longer battery life....

They've used Latin numerical prefixes throughout their line history. Why would switching to Greek ones now be logical?
I'm not looking to get into any online arguments of any sort. I would like to kindly point out that the previous line was called pentacore which happens to have a Greek prefix. In my years of undergraduate and post-graduate math and science classes, the hexa-prefix seemed much more common. It just seemed to me that the next line would be a hexacore.

I am not quite convinced that this particular Donnay company is sticking to any strict standards - especially in naming their lines as they seem to have a mix of both Latin and Greek prefixes.

On a side note, I am an owner of a quadcore pro one GT 16X19 and had to deal directly with them.
If they happen to use the same logic in developing and naming their new racket lines as they use to handle their customer service, then I guess this sexacore name would make sense.
I have my own horror story and have read of others' experiences in dealing with this company and can say that I observed no rhyme or reason as to their thought process on how they handle things.
Needless to say, I will not be buying anymore of their rackets.

Any idea what the RA and SW is for this racket? I used to play with a Donnay ~30 years ago but now use a ProStaff 97s.

From your photos it doesn't look like it's the original mold from 1991-1992. TW did a much better job.

K, not sure I understand nor honestly care..sorry and please take no offense....I am certainly glad the the head size is not a granny head...you could see it with the P S P17 overlay..tiny bit larger..
The pic in the donnay ad makes it look huge.Ours ..does not..
Wife won it and we both validated it plays very well. What else really matters....
One thing I can say, donnays customer service still blows major monkey chunks...!

The pic in the Donnay ad was the Tennis-warehouse reissue and original mold. Your racquet that you won is not the original Pro One Limited 107 mold. That's what I'm trying to say.

Zero: they rare reply (either email or phone) - nor follow up
One: was promise the frame by late sept 17. had to chase them, finally jerry sent it out after chasing him, in early dec 17.
Two: had to send it back, got the lighter version, heavier 320g version late dec 17.
Three: overall they blow in customer service/follow up, they consistently don't even meet expectations...(for me) and this is not my first time around the block with them.
And we were stamped winners, on I had to pay for the shipping of this frame we won, chasing and they dragged their feet ..
Other then that...we love this frame (my wife) ...
Would I buy from them...no way...

That's unbelievable. They were supposed to ship in Sep and they only got it out, with hassling, in Dec? That's insane.

I was supposed to get a free camo bag with purchase. Still have not received it. Know a few others with same issue. Purchased two Donnay Pro 1 last summer. Both off too. Both took a month to arrive as well. Gave up. I mean they are just ridiculous. Just as rightly described above by Copoly, you need to hassle them to get what you pay for and get radio silence if you dont. Customer service is zero. They are not seeing any of my dollars.

That's just crazy. I've heard the stories. Sounds like they might get sued at some point.

Is this available for purchase? Or only a contest prize?

they also had a special during wimbledon if you bought a pentacore racquet they would send you a free pro one os in October. I wanted to do it but I had a feeling they would end up never producing and/or sending them so I didn't..

Yep we won it, but took me months of being very persistent via phone calls and emails. Bill gray ( i believe) started out great. He was I think there front PR guy. But did not take long for him to stop replying. I believe he fell off the donnay map (gone).
Jerry was the one that I hunted nest, but he was not all that and a bag of chips..rare replys...but again he finally send in out (I had to paid the shipping).
I think it is a long time donnay / xenecore tradition to ensure their customers receive a consistent disdain treatment...must be a reverse twist back flop training method..

I think Donnay’s target audiences are the Bridges Of Madison County housewives...they realease the trap door and unleash the sexacore within while their hubbies are out playing tennis all day.

how will that play: singles, doubles, rough, stiff, soft, nice feel, one hander, two hander, between the knees, right down the middle...?
Don't these things usually start with a ladies' singles first up, and a mixed foursome to finish off, with the serious one-on-one stuff in the middle?

Nice! Looks nothing like that new Pro One Oversize LtD from the guys from Long Island.
When younger I was an Agassi nut, still am I suppose. I used to have a yellow & blue Formula Pro, it was the closest I could get at the time to a Pro One!
Some time ago in the 90's a Donnay representative came to our local club where I coached at to show off all the new models, Pro One, Academy Pro, Fuga, etc etc and he brought three orange & grey Pro One's for our members to use and I would NOT let one of these Pro Ones leave my hands! I just asked him (jokingly, I thought) about how would someone go about getting sponsored, and he said to write to the company and ask! So I did, Donnay UK wrote back and asked me to tell them recent tournament results, number of hours coaching and to what level, and I bit about me. About a month went by and I'd not heard anything when I received a letter saying I had been granted coaching terms of sponsorship, which is where I got anything Donnay but at factory price which worked out to about 25-30% of actual 'shop' price. So I bought the orange Pro One in the picture above. I also got a huge bag to put my one racket in, a few tshirts, shorts and a pair of shoes. They wouldn't give me Players Terms, which was everything for free, as I wasn't a UK Nationally ranked player. But I was happy with what I'd got!
Of all the rackets I've bought, sold, traded, given away, re-bought etc, I'd never let my Pro One go. And it was only until a few years ago I finally managed to get my fabled Yellow & Blue one. I now also have the Nike Air Tech Challenge II's to go with it!
