Specs are extremely compelling. I wonder if it will have solved the stability issue that 100" player frames seem to have because that really holds them back and 22.5 mm beam thickness is not a lot to work with. This seems like a good candidate for a playtest! Hope someone gets a chance to demo it and lets us know how it compares to other softer 100s. I think it looks like it could fill the Pro Open spot in the lineup as a not so stiff 100 incher (I am extremely hopeful)

There's 5-6 buyers of this in the 'holic thread.
Have you not been reading the racquetholic thread? Lots of feedback on this one already in there because they sold it in Europe first. It’s known as the Eurostaff there.
I will check it out for sure.
Not to mention the sheer volume. I'm glad people have a good time riffing on stuff but pointing someone to that thread for information isn't all that helpful. Separate threads about individual racquets are much easier to find and use.
It is a bit dense and the search function isn't the best.

I’ve only hit with it for one set of doubles so far. Strung with orange Lynx tour 17g at 50lbs. It’s got that nice comfortable yet crisp pro staff feel going on but it may be a bit too Head heavy for my liking. Definitely not 12pts HL unstrung as it is printed on the frame. Playing more with it tomorrow.

actually the reports on QC form the "holic thread" have been very good at weight coming in at 305 grams unstrung, the 12 pts HL unstrung seems too much as the TW page for this racket lists 5 pts HL strung which seems about right.
And BTW the string weight in a frame at this 305 gram unstrung weight will "generally (depends on strings)" effect how HL it is by about 3 pts give or take a bit. I doubt Wilson designed this frame to be 9 pts HL strung, when its strung weight is near 11.4 oz. More likely the target balance is 5-6 pts HL strung which is what most of the reports from the "holic" thread report.

Here are the 3 I measured with plastic and card.
317g, 32.1cm, 304 sw
320g, 32.5cm, 322 sw
315g, 32.1cm, 304 sw

I’m at TW right now buying one. We’ll see how it measures and how it hits.
mine just arrived within the last 30 minutes, weighed 305 grams right on specs and 9 pts HL, pretty much exactly as I expected, this is "naked" with plastic etc removed

That 320SW one is alarming. Measuring SW with the plastic card is inherently tough as it provides a ton of air resistance. Thanks for measuring 3 of them.

The Blade v7 100 they just released looks pretty similar on paper, with just a touch less static weight and higher swing weight. I wonder how similar they are in practice. Is the PS 100 with a little lead on the hoop more or less the same?

Yep got two of these. It is been dubbed the eurostaff in the Holic thread. It came out as European release at first. Got leather grip/OG and 1g @12. Lovely feeling racquet and just very easy to play. Really nice on my 1hbh

Correct me if i’m wrong, but this isn’t a pro staff mold right? Its the older six one model that came out some years ago with the blx tech
The Pro Staff and the Six One have been sleeping together on and off for 20 years now and they try not to talk about it around family because they wouldn't understand.

The Pro Staffs are indeed a bit boxier and so was the old Pro Staff 100. This appears to be a never before used mold. Better in the Pro Staff line than the Ultra

The balance of this racket is a misprint/not caring by Wilson. Real balance of this racket is 9HL, 305gr static weight and i'd say SW is 290-300 unstrung. I have 3 and they all are very very close in all specs.. one had a little lighter balance 31.5 vs others 31.8. all the other ones on holic thread had very very close specs as well so let's not fuel the narratives without actual facts on Wilson QC stuff. Yonex new vcore QC is absolute sht show. Just bc they nail static weight doesn't mean anything. Balance and swing weight is absolute key and they definitely botched it on that one. Where is that narrative?

Anyways back to the racket...
Very good feel but that is subjective... I like it.
Comes thru the air fast.. whippy but also stable. It has a very forgiving string bed. Sweet spot is very decent. It hits a really good 1hander backhand for me. Best one I had for that. I play with blade V7 18m so compared to that it has a higher launch angle (keep in mind that 18m v7 has a low launch angle vs standard). Eurostaff hits an easier topspin. It also flattens the ball well (obviously not as well as blade). Basically the string bed is predictable. No wild launches, weird bounces.
Power is easier than blade at lower racket head speeds (defensively easier to defend with eurostaff) but when you are attacking and not pressed for time, blade hits a better/faster/heavier ball with more zip. But again that's still not bad for eurostaff bc blade crushes the ball when you are attacking in my opinion and if you have the racket head speed. So eurostaff is an excellent all-around racket. There are no weaknesses. Does everything well. I own 3.

Big jump on that middle one with SW but in reality that placard adds a lot of SW especially that it adds all that air drag. Your unstrung SWs will be far lower for all

This is a great frame. I have one and love it. It’s not going to beat out my main frame, but it’s real close and quite similar, so I definitely bring it out now and then. If you ever wanted an easier to use pro staff that still feels like a pro staff, this is the way to go.

Search the site for “eurostaff”. Plenty of info if you use that term.

I think the throat is very very similar to ps 95 6.1 so i think it's in the spirit of 6.1 which at least in this current reincarnation is different mold than ps97

Well,

I have two well known 100 in² players frames that I'll be selling off when their strings break and I plan to use the proceeds for one of these.

My next 100 incher was going to be a Speed Pro but I like the specs and feedback on this Pro Staff. I just wish it were 16x20 or 18x19 ...

/Acey

I'll add my 2¢ once I do the thing and get my mitts on one.

I've expected to have have 8 mains in the throat. How is 16x19 like? Fairly open or more dense in the middle?

The middle looks dense both vertically and horizontally. Very 6.1 in nature with the bottom and top crosses really thrown out. Just hit in the middle more :)

Still messing with this frame, just haven't had the time to really give it a good couple week test, not enough time and injury rehab as well. Overall seems solid so far, best attributes are volley and 1hbh IMO. I do think that for me it needs 2-4 grams in the upper half of the hoop, almost swings too light/fast for me at stock set up.

Have a “used” one coming on the bay from someone who bought it from TW. Says it was used for 15 minutes but they like they’re Clash pro better. We’ll see.

I would love to see more comparison of this frame with six one 95 models. I’m still playing the 95 and this racquet has tempted me. Although it would be nice to have the extra headsize for sweet spot and power I can’t imagine the 100 sq in feeling as crisp as the 95. Eventually though it think my curiosity and temptation may take over.

Hit 'em clean

I've been very happy with my Speed Pro 360+ sticks for the last 6+ months and haven't even had a desire to try anything else, but the allure of this one was just too much. I loved the PS 6.0 95's and is my all time favorite racquet. I love the new cosmetic that brings back the old school look. The 100sq in was very intriguing to me so I bought one and strung it up with Triax 16ga at 54lbs. My thought was that even at the lighter weight and SW that the Pro Staff 6.1 would play similar to my Speed Pro, but with a 16x19 pattern. At the very worst it would be a nice option to switch to on a bad day if I needed something a little easier in the spin depth and with a touch more power.

I played a set of doubles with it last night and I have to say at first hit it is basically what I thought it would be... it has the Pro Staff feel to it which was comfortable, but still had a slight crisp/firmness to it and great feel/touch. Topspin came easily and power was slightly more than my Speed Pro. The only thing this frame is lacking is a touch more static and swing weight... although it plays extremely well in stock form. The lack of static weight and SW made slices a little tougher as they tended to float and sit up more compared to the Speed Pro. Also despite good controllable power and spin... the weight of shot was lacking a bit compared to my Speed Pro.

I loved the whippy feel of the frame... so easy to get moving and catch up to shots if you're a little late. Also really helped on return of serve. Launch angle was a little higher than my Speed Pro (using same strings, SP strung at 52lbs), but I'd call it medium. Serves were well placed with good power and great spin. Return of serve was fantastic. Very maneuverable for volleying with good touch. Compared to other 16x19 100sq in frames this is a nice almost tweener option with a players frame feel/touch to it. I think it might even be slightly better with a few grams added to it and will play around with adding 6-7g possibly at 3 & 9 to give it a little more SW and stability.

It was a really nice alternative to my Speed Pros... quicker to swing, easier spin and still very controllable. I did have to make sure to dial in some spin when hitting big... with the Speed and 18x20 pattern I can hit flat and get away with it a lot more.

With strings, OG and dampener mine came in at 325g and 7pts HL. I didn't try and measure it yet, but I'd guess the SW to be in the low 320's... probably 323 like the TW measured spec. If you like the Pro Staff line and want a slightly easier to use version... this is definitely one to try.

I don't think it's enough to consider switching from my Speed Pro's, but I'll definitely keep this one in my bag.

The new Pro Staff 100 V13 that I received from TW had a bare weight of 307.9 g and balance of 5 pts HL (advertised spec on card is 305 g and 12 pts HL). I strung it with Gamma 16 ga synthetic that I like to use as a reference point with new rackets and the strung weight is 322.4 g and bp is only 2 pts HL. I added 5 g weight under the buttcap and a 5 g Wilson overwrap plus Wilson vibration damper which gave a finished playing weight of 335.1 and bp of 5 pts HL. I don't really want to go any heavier.
Thoughts???

I just bought two of these frames (in EU) and the following are the details without plastic grip packaging or the card advertising:

unstrung weight and balance (I can't measure the SW)

racket 1 304.4g, 30.6cm balance
racket 2 304.6g, 30.6cm balance

Delighted. Added a replacement Wilson leather grip to both (did not add much static weight (just +3g to each)) which made the balance 30.5cm unstrung.
Will get strung over next couple of days and try out next week. Will post the final specs when all done.

This is an excellent frame in all regards. If you love the feel and response of a traditional player's racquet with the forgiveness and free power of a tweener (what we holics call a pleener), then this is a must-hit frame. It has a fairly open 16x19 pattern and it absolutely loves to spin the ball. Heavy topspin forehands are a dream and nasty slice backhands are readily on demand. Oh and the slice and kick serves are unreal. I had some issues when I wanted to hit flat with it but that was about the only issue.

I hit with plenty of 6.1s and can tell you that this feels and hits like a true 6.1 in every way that matters. It doesn't have the same mass so that brutal thumping isn't there but it still hits a damn good ball. While the reported RA is 64, the one I demoed definitely felt a few points higher than that (66-67ish).

It gave my EZone 100 a run for its money.

From comments here and TW description, the racquet may lack slightly in stability? 11.4oz/323 sw isnt exactly low.
