I just saw TW has these guys back in stock - http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Wilson_Pro_Staff_95/descpageRCWILSON-PS95.html

A friend of mine loves them, but I think the head guards have the durability of bisquick. His grommets are usually fine so does anyone know if it uses the same head guard as the 95S?

Hi, the headguards are not the same... different string patterns.

On the guard 7&8, 9&10 swap from crosses to mains. The appear to be close enough some loving from a heat gun might do the trick. That idea falls apart at 11 where a new individual grommet would need to be inserted.
