Any thoughts on the new Pro Staff 97 ULS? I think it's a great racket for customization.

Well apparently, no one has used this racket. There are also no comments about this one in the feedback section.

I know a couple guys who used it and they did really like it with customizations but after a while of breaking atleast 1 string a day they had to switch away.

Well I found the 97LS could be a good platform too, I don't see why you'd go for even lighter considering the specs. No real advantage here IMO. Well it's supposed to have the same SW as the LS version while being about 20g lighter, but that's really about it.
EDIT: That said, most recent Wilson are foam filled; you'd have to dig out the foam to add silicone or similar in the handle. Makes customization tricky.

My mistake I was thinking of the LS. Didn't realize there was a lighter version

Yes. LS makes more sense. My son plays with it and I use the PS97. Good platform racquet for as is for younger players.

The guys I know who used it are both 17 and high level players. Just had to add quite a bit of lead

I hope I can demo this one soon. Might customise it to 11oz at about 9pts HL.
