Pro Staff BLX 6.1 90 Club

I just pulled the trigger on this racquet and looking forward to seeing what others have to say about this racquet, the string and tension used, and balance of the racquet as well as possible comparisons to other racquets.

I am currently using a PSTGT which I love but a recent demo of the PS 6.1 BLX 90 with a multi string made me wonder how good this racquet is when hybrid with natural gut mains and co-poly crosses. It is also such an easy racquet to swing with and softer than the K90, KPS 88, and the older BLX model.

Yes, agreed. I too was like you, besotted from day 1 with the demo I got which had NXT on it and played wonderfully. I just committed to 2 of these, one strung with Prince Premier LT (haven't played with it yet), and the other a hybrid of RPM and Sensation at 52lbs (this seems to play well but needs a few sessions for the strings to settle-in). I will likely restring both and experiment with different set-ups. :)

I spent 3 months testing racquets and I've decided to stick with the PS90 Blx.

It's by far the best racquet I've used, and it suits me perfectly. The pinpoint control is amazing.

I have mine strung with Wilson natural gut mains, and Co-Focus cross at 54/51. The perfect blend of power, control and spin.

I've finally found a great setup, so I'm sticking to it... Picking up another one soon.

For those of us who are interested in this stick but haven't hit with it yet, perhaps it would be useful if people were to describe their playing style and level?
Thanks!
