I recently found out I have a pro staff 85 st. vincent model with no bumper guard. It is unstrung and has never been played with, still has original tags, and is in about a 8.5 condition(a few cosmetic scratches). It has the fairway 4 1/4 L2 grip. It has the white butt cap with the markings JYQ. Since this is a rare model I was wondering what an approcimate price range of worth would be for this raquet? On top of that Id like to know if raquets appreciate in value over time?

There's one on e-bay right now that's around $450 and the auction's not done yet.

If you've got the hang tags. Then perhaps more.

....but 8.5 condition without being strung and obviously never hit with? Where was it kept? At the bottom of a kid's toybox?

Needless to say, pictures would be great.

As for holding value? You never know with collectibles......

Value? About 35 dollars US. I'll offer $50.00

J/k. If it still has the tags, and never strung it may go upwards of 400

hi

Yea I had noticed the raquet that was on ****, however I did notice that the one on there appeared to have the bumper guard which made it slightly less rare. As for why its in a 8.5 or 9 condition, I found it at a thrift store a few years back. The lack of bumper guard and different markings seemed to show it was a little older model of the st. vincent than the one on ****. Which isnt necessarily bad I dont think, because it was one of or maybe the first model to have the braided kevlar and the pws system. Well when I get a chance later today or so I will post pics. thx
