Pro Staff vs Pure Strike 16x19 3rd gen

Hi there, the last comparison I saw for these were a few generations ago. Anyone here played with both the pure strike 16x19 3rd gen, and any of the current or recent pro staffs? How would you compare the two.

I play with the strike, and have a leather grip added to mine which adds about 10g and makes it less head heavy. I'm just curious really...

I’ve played with both. Pro Staff is heavier, a lot more control and less pure power… Pure Strike feels muted and plasticky, generates a lot of pop and force, but can sail a little. They’re actually very different sticks, not really comparable imo.

Agree with TwinCinema here, Pure Strike is much more muted while the Prostaff feels comparatively more "raw". Smaller sweetspot on the prostaff.

Also depends on which Pro Staff I guess. I tried the 97 and it was a sledgehammer. The 6.1 might be pretty different but I still doubt it’ll be comparable to the Strike.
