Pro Supex Blue Gear hybrid with??

Well, i'm an average but drastically improving player, i strung up with a full bed of Blue Gear, didn't know any better, but it's not too bad. I just want it better  So what do i hybrid with Blue Gear 16g?

Racquet: Babolat aeropro drive original, no cortex
Blue Gear is full bed strung at 61.

I really need help finding a good string, i hit massive spin, or what i consider is massive.

bottom line. best string to hybrid with blue gear 16g, and at what tension?

Thank you so much. I'm a newbie =P

If you hit with massive spin you will break those strings in under 16 hours. So if that is the case, hybriding can be a waste of time because a hybrid breaks even faster.

I hear the Spiralflex is a real good cross though.

Can't go wrong with the ol' Gosen OG, I've strung my sticks up with that combo countless times....with great results. I also like the Pro Supex Titan as a cross, but neither of those is going to give you great durability if you hit with tons of spin. If durability is what you're seeking with a little more comfort try a full bed of BG a little lower in the tension range. If you do indeed hit with tons of spin the ball will land in

I hybrid mine with PS Max Touch 16. It is a great set up except for durability. It lasts me between 6-8 hrs of play. I am going to look at a different cross PSGD/TiTan as well as a couple of others

Sorry i forgot to mention, i've been playing this setup for a WHILE now, and they haven't broken yet, i guess i dont have that much spin then. Guestimate, i guess 20+ hours, so durability is deff not an issue

Blue Gear is a poly

Blue gear mains and Big Ace cross is a good set up... for string breakers I recommend Kevlar mains and blue gear cross... but anything with Blue Gear is good... but all blue gear set up is not a good thing..

dangit =[ i've never broken my strings, i was kinda looking forward to it, anyway, i've also never had any arm problems, so what is the best string to increase spin and all around playablity?

i was thinking about the gamma tnt2 or the technifibre strings, but i'm a newbie so what do i know =]

Blue Gear with SPPP. It performs better than BG/BA, BG/Premier Ace, BG/SPPPPure or even full BG. Something about this setup just makes the balls drop in.

16 g BG mains @65 lbs/ 16g SPPP cross @ 68 lbs. Its my go to setup. BG above 66 lbs decreases its spin potential, but under that threshold I still get the massive spin.

it would also be awsome if you could post a link on which one the SPPP is, not sure if its the white one or orange one and theres a 16L also not sure what to get, sorry about my nubity

holy crap, what racquet is that on? the max tension for my AeroPro is 62

That is currently what I use on my Gamma G325 racquets- I am sure the max tension on my frames is alot lower too, but stringing has always been a feel issue for me. I have never strung my racquets based on those recommended numbers. SPPP stands for Signum Pro Poly Plasma btw. I definitely like this more than the SPPP Pure which is the white version. Didn't seem to hold tension, maintain playability, have as much control, and touch as the SPPP (regular). The pure does feel softer though... Here is a link to the SPPP that I use. http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageACFORTEN-SIGPPP16L.html

dude my racket is gonna look so rad with orange and light blue strings, i'm so looking forward to re-stringing. And if anyone knows where i can get bluegear, it would be great, i hate fle****, but if i must, i will =[

the frame is not going to "warp" (not quite sure what you mean by this anyway) from tension range in the mid to high 60s. I also use the platinum version of blue gear (it appears white).

who cares what the min/max tension is if you don't like the way the racquet plays when you are within the tension range?

Blue Gear main

My cousin has a similar setup, Blue Gear mains, but i'm not sure what he as for crosses. And what gauge was you're blue gear? i hear that 16 is best

Are you going to try the 16 and compare? Also, i asked in a thread what's a good cross, and one person highly suggested SPPP 16L, but now i've been reading some more and i hear Hyperion is like SPPP on steroids. I'm gonna give it a try once my strings break, if they ever will =[

Thicker gauge

Yeah i heard good things about the black magic. Before i joined the forum, i was thinking about gamma tnt2 or one of technifibre's multis. I don't like **************, they messed up my order before, i only use TW and Tennis Depot.

tennis has both

syn gut titan>> amazing string by itself or hybrid. i had to switch to this for a little while because my arm started to hurt from full blue gear at 75.

I get my Blue Gear from them, never had a problem with getting my Blue Gear from them.. always on time and good customer service.. that's where I get my Pro Supex and now Genesis since TW don't carry it. *shrugs*

Eh, I stick with what works hhaha..plus I have a crapload of MSV and WeissCANNON to test now.. I have a full year supply of strings, if not more.

I use Blue Gear 18g in the crosses and Genesis Spin X 17 in the mains. If you don't suffer from arm problems, this may be worth a try. I experiment with strings quite often, but this combination has stuck with me for a couple of months now. I string my Dunlop Max 300i at about 46 lbs. with this combo. Good Luck in your search.

My strings are a little loose, but thats the way I prefer them. The racquet I play with is only 84 sq. in. So the string bed stiffness is comparable to larger head sizes strung at 55 lbs. or so.
