Pro Supex initial hit

The aerostorm "seems" like it would be a winner but my son uses the aerostorm tour and the reality just doesn't stack up to the spec sheet. It's very cumbersome and has a 340g SW but the power level is quite low. My son likes it but it does not work for me.

The MG Pres MP feels like the SW is around 320-ish. I don't remember what the Pres Pro feels like, it's been a year since i tried it. But the MGPMP swings close the MG Radical (but not as whippy)... but i have my Rad weighted a bit.

I'm interested to see what you think of these sticks, will they sway you...? Once i got my Pure Controls to play to my liking, i thought that was it... i still think the PC is one of the most underrated racquets, they are really nice, pure Honda or Toyota... they do everything very good, but no one trait that stands out. i remember the PST playing different, the hoop was more flexible. At the time, that was not for me. The MGPMP is flexible but not really noticeable in any one particular area, just nice and controllable.

hey guys,

how does blue gear, poly power soft, and poly master compare to kirschbaum pro line II or kirschbaum p2? i need to know for a deal that im getting from them

thanks

^^In a word, not really. I thought you had reviewed them before in your string reviews. I remember that you thought they were plasticy.

If you think about it, you're only getting around $180 worth (3 reels). I would rather pay for and play with what you really know and like (k-baum) then potentially mess your game up just to save a few bucks.

I found that I would rather pay the extra $2 per set for BBO as opposed to BA but that's for my game and alot of people on here love BA. I used to love it when using a thick beam PDR. Stick with what you know.

hey guys where do you get these strings in the uk?????? i done my research and all that comes up is american sites.

thanks for the info

but ive only tried BA and Maxim touch. i tried blue gear, but that was a long time ago, and with an essentially different racquet, so its hard to tell.

a 180 bucks is a little more than a couple bucks, and i am sure that mini Rafa knows well enough not to play the string, but to play his game.

Hey Tofi,

Another Brit who happens to use Pro Supex strings. You are right in that they are hard to find over here. I bought some sets of Matrix hybrid from Tennis Tech in Middlesex(love the string btw, great combo of power/control). They have a website, surprised you didn't see it. They also sell MaximTouch and 1.28gauge BA. Failing that I think one of the UK board members might sell you some. He has a website also which you should find if you search or simply search my recent posts and you should find who I am talking about.

Nationals, I see from your sig that your using Prince topspin 15 in the 03 Tours. I tried every setup known to man but the Topspin 15 was the best by far. Great feel and power.

Quick question to Pro Supex guys- which non-Supex string is most like Big Ace? (That's available on Tennis Warehouse)

man pro supex owns most strings on the market to be honest. it can satisfy players that prefer softer strings such as multis because it isnt as stiff as other polys. i highly reccommend the big ace 16 or 17. take your pick they are both great string and very durable

Have you tried it in Micro?
I've been liking that the best.
