Need to watch takeover as well. Was just too busy with schoolwork to catch it live. I did check spoilers and it for sure seems worth watching. Rod Strong is one heck of a worker and its not shocking he and Riddle had a steller match. Basically Gargano is the same way, one heck of a worker. Sadly neither have any personality. Gargano was just going to be a perineal jobber until the great Tammaso Ciampa can into being.

No doubt the effort was put forth to show that WWE/NXT can offer up a product in the ring alternative to AEW.

I don't think they can move it off the network but if network threw enough money at it Vince puts it on.

When WWE first bought ECW, Shane's intention was to operate ECW as a web show and keep it close to the same product. Then a network tossed money (Scfy I think) at it and Vince put it on TV and tamed the product down.
I sure HHH wants Vince to stay away from NXT

We all want him to stay away lol.
Tyler Breeze going back to NXT was a smart decision.

And how many are unused in the WWE? As if by hoarding talent it prevents other promotions from growing.
I mean that is through process right? Plus they can use them for house shows.

A few guys this may backfire.
It seems Neville was a just a doosh but other guys that they are stashing away for no reason everyone misses and then if they show up unannounced on AEW and gank someone itll be huge.

Take Harper for instance, if he isn't seen until his contract is up and all of sudden pops on AEW busting heads with the beard and crazy eyes it will have much more impact on AEW than if he was piddling around on TV.

Ambrose/Moxley saw they may have been trying to bury him on his way out, but fans knew as well which also lead to his mystique and immediate top of the card booking on AEW.

I go back to that Jericho interview and how open he was and how at peace he felt. I wish there would have been a way for that guy to come though the TV. I bnasically remember Dean doing a Stone Cold podcast and being so standoffish I just assumed he was dooshy like Neville

Yes, and I was like wtf :p
Somebody forgot to tell him that the overrun was cut down. Just felt very amateur and because I'm such a grouch these days it makes me feel like they think that it doesn't mean anything. They can just get away with it because they are WWE. But also not a mistake that would be made if all hands are on deck.

Yeah, I'm so easily triggered.

I'll be honest and say I thought some of the Iconics lines were amusing. I'm also attracted to one of them. :p

This whole Brock briefcase thing as been an absolute cluster eff. First the way he won was dumb. Then for some reason he didn't know you could wait a year to cash in even though that's how seth won the title a few years back from him. The Stephanie threatens to fire if he doesn't cash in immediately. Then when he Seth comatose and dead he doesn't cash the case in but waits for Friday? If Brock is heel and the belt is essentially being gifted to him he cashes it in. And like Baileys cash in they don't even make the champ recover and stand up any more so he coulda tossed Seth in the ring cashed it in and been the champ. Now when they wrestle on the Saudi show itll be Seth selling injuries for the entire time and probably catch Brock with a stomp (outta nowhere) for the win. Terrible writing.

The rest of Raw I felt was pretty good. orton seems invested in this match with trips, and invested Orton is always great. They set up the Braun and Bobby thing with a perfect old school arm-wrestling match and loser shenanigans.
Carmella superkicking Drake to let truth escape was good, and at least these 24/7 segments offer a nice change of pace.
I wonder what Vince thought of the Vince with devil horns puppet on Wyatt's segment?
Maybe Bliss and Cross for a tag team and win those belts. It seems like that is the direction they are heading.

Most solid Raw for some time, hopefully next week is better, then the next week etc, and an upward trend starts.

You know my thoughts when Orton is on fire. He is in the discussion when on that form.

I'm picturing Vince lol for a few minutes after watching Bray. I still find it amusing. Still has the creepy vibe just because it is Bray but now he is not talking nonsense in tongues. It's different. Gotta give them kudos.

Any thoughts that Brock's Friday may be in reference to Smackdown on Fox?
I was just thinking for sure Saudi Arabia. But an interesting Swerve would be for it to happen on SD on FOX and for him to cash in on that champ and not the raw champ. So good point.

What if they booked Brock in the title match for Seth's strap without him cashing in the case and he wins that belt? Then he could show up on SD and cash in. on Kofi or whoever is champ by then.

Some more big Dave rantings. He wasn't impressed with Orton and Triple H. Said it was like 2 friends out there spoofing. Yeah, isn't that what wrestling is? No, they were just too jokey with it. Alrighty then.

''The Bray Wyatt angle felt like it belonged on a better show.'' Seems like this is one of the good things they have right now. I enjoy them.

Has any heel challenger had less heat than Baron Corbin?

These saudi shows make no sense and are disrespectful to the fans who made the company what it is today.

Nxt is still king, the takeover last weekend was better than the aew show. Follwed by raw, then "the view", then smackdown (ya sd is that bad)

SD is pretty bad right now. So bad in fact that all the challengers to the belts are coming from Raw. Ziggler and Bliss. Both of them are in those matches to lose and Dolph is their probably just because KO wont make the trip.

The revival come out come with Shane last night and you know its just so Roman and beat the crap out of them before drew gets his sneak in.

Elias and Truth traded the 24/7 belt again with truths pin happening under the ring so nobody could see it. Why.

Andrade is getting the best of Balor which means Balor has to put face paint on to beat him. So dumb

Jon Moxley is now the post Wrestlemania era Becky Lynch. Can't walk down any street without hearing more Moxley stories. He won the NJPW United States title. He's on fire!
AXS will show his title match friday at 8 pm before LFA MMA.

p.s. Seems scripted, read about this match a week ago on a preview of Friday's show. What is NXT??? A scripted election?

Interesting to see Goldberg back, he looks phenomenal for his age.
Dude has always looked good until he actually ever had to anything longer than 2 minutes.

Tommorw it'll be Spear Jackhammer undertaker sit up. A couple punches, maybe an old school rope walk, tombstone. Done

Or itll be a buch of garbage, old school tombstone, GBerg kick out, spear, Jackhammer, Taker locks in hells gate for the tap out victory.

Or maybe they let Goldberg win. The macth ti self will be terrible, the spectacle I'm sure will be top notch. The entrances are sure to last longer than the match.

Ill still watch it when I get home.

Dl'd wrong version of raw and watched smackdown first. Koffi is ok but jesus, worst intro ever. Victim with the belt, got really old, really fast.

Even bliss was annoying. Why is allistar talking every week for 2mins about nothing? Sullivan needs a longer interview, lol. Goldturd has always been trash.

Sd was 2-10 this week

That's pretty much how all underdog stories go. The path to the top is interesting and fun, but what happens when you get there not so much.

Alestair is taking the wonrg approach, begging someone to fight you don't work. He just needs to show up and start randomly black massing people (or is black mask?) and put himself out there.

They are doinf right by Lars, make him struggle with Lucha House Party so nobody take shim serious.

Another Moxley story, I'm guilty. haha, No!, I gotta say in terms of aesthetically pleasing, the outfit he was wearing in his NJPW match adds to his total points out of 30. :p. Kevin Kelly be like, ''Look at his legs. They were hiding those legs.''
