The build up to Kyrgios vs Thiem now has me listening to the first hell in a cell bio.

Thinking back to it and the review I read in powerslam afterwards. Definitely one of their highest rated matches ever. Calling it unbelievable and so on. Yeah, it was great.

“Space Mountain may be the oldest ride in the park, but it has the longest line.”
HAHA Yes, I know that. :p I just mean about the storyline. When I heard about it, I thought it was weird to have Charlotte against Ric. But then it is WWE so not so weird. I probably would have expected pregnancy.

I feel like he was better in his first run, but his second run he had better opponents lol. He faced a lot of weirdos and nobodies and guys that wrestled like crap in the 90s, but he was GOATY af. Second run I didn't like his in ring style as much (though he was still tearing it down of course) but he had a lot of great matches bc he got to face guys like Angle, etc. Imagine if 95 Shawn was in there with Kurt :X3:

Shawn's first run was better from an athletic standpoint, but his second run from a story telling point was next level, what he had lost in youth and was able to balance out with experienced story telling.

Spot on. So hard for me to choose. I really think they are equal, which just speaks to how GOATY he is that he had matches as good as he did in 95-97 from 05-09

Shawn all cool, calm and collected with DX while he comes to the ring for the first hell in a cell. Such arrogance. Then when he feels the cell close to him, he starts to freak out. Help me. Yeah, the man could sell.

''I am afraid of the dark.'' :giggle:

Welcome to Heaven. Match before the Main Event was The Patriot v HHH v Owen Hart Btw, memory a bit faded. This was a show in 1997
I use profightdb to look for events/matches I've never seen. (to watch on the network) which is really fun bc I can look up someone like Randy Savage and choose 1994 and all his matches will be listed for example.
In your case you could probably find the exact card from this 97 event....

That is what I used to confirm my bad memory. What I do remember was looking eye-to-eye with Bret and nodding as I could see he remembered SS 1993. At that time and in the previous couple years the attendance in our area, Detroit & Toledo was poor, less than 5,000 at the Joe.

The Ric Flair vs Jim Powers match. ''as Powers delivers headlock takedown 2, I couldn't help notice my man here getting a good look at Miss Elizabeth. He pays zero attention to the match inside the ropes and it's clear this is a man who has his priorities in order. Good job, Sir.'' :giggle:

Had the XPac podcast on and he is talking about selling for Chyna. How if Austin sells for you then everybody sells for you.

Can just imagine Hulk Hogan. That doesn't work for me, brother. :p

This can always change daily with the amount of wrestling bios I listen to now. Really enjoyed this one. I think I'm going to have to watch this match again. Been too long. Maybe even as far back as 1992.

Yep, Roddy. You were right about Bret. No doubt.

Eric Bischoff is holding Kevin Nash and Scott Hall hostage.

I hate ranting ranting ranting. Just listening to Sean Waltman talking about his return promo to WWE. He was asked about restrictions and he said none. ''Vince came up to me and said the crowd are expecting something big. Go out and give it to them.''
