Dave Meltzer: “I think most people know this, but Brock Lesnar was scheduled to return to Rumble, and this was a change obviously that was made because of the lawsuits or the changes made probably Friday. Friday, most likely perhaps Saturday morning, and Bron breaker because of that, and the fact that the match was pretty much scripted out already. Bron Breaker essentially fulfilled the Brock Lesnar role he came in when Brock Lesnar was gonna come in. He threw out the guys Brock Lesnar was gonna throw out. It was you got thrown out exactly how Brock Lesnar was [supposed to be].”

I just wonder how Brock would have been thrown out. Hard to imagine it being Dominik, perhaps Gunther since that was the speculated match for Wrestlemania.

What for Cody now? Will it be another match vs Seth Rollins? Only time will tell, Gorilla.

At this point anything other than Cody finding his way back to Roman is a failure. Heck, ill even take a triple threat at this point. Just look at the segment dislikes on youtube, on track to be one of if not the most disliked wwe video. There's still time to salvage this

This is gonna be such a mess. Rock literally could have done this any of the last few years when he teased it. Now he waits until the year that EVERYONE wanted something else. The boos are going to be insane.

It takes me back to the Royal Rumble a year later when Roman was getting pushed as the top face and fans didn't accept it. They wanted Bryan, much like the fans today want Cody. Of course, Rock there as well, sticking his beak in.

But like you say, still time to save it, just can't imagine it changing if it's announced at a press conference or whatever.

Yeah, Rumble 2015 I remember. And funny thing is that was also in Philadelphia where WM 40 is this year.

I see Bron Breakker won a tag team title on NXT. hmmm, I don't have problems or any hate towards NXT. I just thought he would be on the main rosters after the Royal Rumble. Made such a good impression and wasn't even in that long.

Rock embracing the hate does make me smile. haha

Rocky Maivia had to come crawling back to WWE in order to stay relevant. OK, that might be overstating it, of course he will be relevant, but his Hollywood star power took a big hit, managing to botch Black Adam due to his ego. ETC
