Need to watch takeover as well. Was just too busy with schoolwork to catch it live. I did check spoilers and it for sure seems worth watching. Rod Strong is one heck of a worker and its not shocking he and Riddle had a steller match. Basically Gargano is the same way, one heck of a worker. Sadly neither have any personality. Gargano was just going to be a perineal jobber until the great Tammaso Ciampa can into being.
No doubt the effort was put forth to show that WWE/NXT can offer up a product in the ring alternative to AEW.
I don't think they can move it off the network but if network threw enough money at it Vince puts it on.
When WWE first bought ECW, Shane's intention was to operate ECW as a web show and keep it close to the same product. Then a network tossed money (Scfy I think) at it and Vince put it on TV and tamed the product down.
I sure HHH wants Vince to stay away from NXT

A few guys this may backfire.
It seems Neville was a just a doosh but other guys that they are stashing away for no reason everyone misses and then if they show up unannounced on AEW and gank someone itll be huge.
Take Harper for instance, if he isn't seen until his contract is up and all of sudden pops on AEW busting heads with the beard and crazy eyes it will have much more impact on AEW than if he was piddling around on TV.
Ambrose/Moxley saw they may have been trying to bury him on his way out, but fans knew as well which also lead to his mystique and immediate top of the card booking on AEW.
I go back to that Jericho interview and how open he was and how at peace he felt. I wish there would have been a way for that guy to come though the TV. I bnasically remember Dean doing a Stone Cold podcast and being so standoffish I just assumed he was dooshy like Neville

Somebody forgot to tell him that the overrun was cut down. Just felt very amateur and because I'm such a grouch these days it makes me feel like they think that it doesn't mean anything. They can just get away with it because they are WWE. But also not a mistake that would be made if all hands are on deck.

This whole Brock briefcase thing as been an absolute cluster eff. First the way he won was dumb. Then for some reason he didn't know you could wait a year to cash in even though that's how seth won the title a few years back from him. The Stephanie threatens to fire if he doesn't cash in immediately. Then when he Seth comatose and dead he doesn't cash the case in but waits for Friday? If Brock is heel and the belt is essentially being gifted to him he cashes it in. And like Baileys cash in they don't even make the champ recover and stand up any more so he coulda tossed Seth in the ring cashed it in and been the champ. Now when they wrestle on the Saudi show itll be Seth selling injuries for the entire time and probably catch Brock with a stomp (outta nowhere) for the win. Terrible writing.
The rest of Raw I felt was pretty good. orton seems invested in this match with trips, and invested Orton is always great. They set up the Braun and Bobby thing with a perfect old school arm-wrestling match and loser shenanigans.
Carmella superkicking Drake to let truth escape was good, and at least these 24/7 segments offer a nice change of pace.

I was just thinking for sure Saudi Arabia. But an interesting Swerve would be for it to happen on SD on FOX and for him to cash in on that champ and not the raw champ. So good point.
What if they booked Brock in the title match for Seth's strap without him cashing in the case and he wins that belt? Then he could show up on SD and cash in. on Kofi or whoever is champ by then.

SD is pretty bad right now. So bad in fact that all the challengers to the belts are coming from Raw. Ziggler and Bliss. Both of them are in those matches to lose and Dolph is their probably just because KO wont make the trip.
