Impact is based in Canada now. If you watched Lucha Underground some of those wrestlers are in Impact

Heard on Busted Open concern over the expected rating for Smackdown on Fox Friday. Noticed last May Last Man Standing opened with nearly 5 million viewers.

This first SD is gonna do well in the ratings they are pulling out all the stops. The rock in the house, Stone Cold, CM punk rumors, Flair, Hogan, the fiend, a more than likely title change (unless Rey interferes), probably an undertaker sighting to boot. Please don't let Rey interfere as if they brought Brock back for a feud with Rey and Rey's kid that would be the dumbest thing ever. He's already going out all out jobbing to guys like Seth who don't move the needle we need him losing to a 140lb dude pushing 50.

Lucha very well might be done, Cuerno began a lawsuit and a bunch of other jumped on board claiming the LU contract was too restrictive because they couldn't be on other TV shows during the season and were only making 1k an episode. And with WWE and AEW locking down most of the talent they might not have the people around to interest people. But for the most part they use original names so could just Aunt Viv whoever and bring in someone else to wear the mask.

Still amazed how many different promotions share the same wrestlers. Discovered the Impact show last nite on AXS was a replay of the Homecoming PPV from January.

They did a lot of sharing back and forth, but that well is set to run dry as far as the big name talent goes. But, It wasn't too long ago that Adam Cole (BAYBAY) was wrestling on EVOLVE cards. Now they got NXT TV show it probably wont happen. I also probably wont get no more NXT live shows 10 minutes form house in a community college arena.

Like Hollywood said, I would expect them to have a good rating for the new show. Austin, Rock, Goldie and Hogan in the same place at once. Boom. The 4 main guys from the 1998ish peak. Rock is the man outside of wrestling too.

Guess it will never get better numbers than Friday. Was totally unaware that Promotions paid stations/networks to air their shows BITD.

It will only be downhill from there no doubt about it.

Fox has been promoting the heck out of this thing. Had Braun in the booth of baseball broadcast talking about it and everything. I'm pretty sure any person who has watched any fox broadcast knows to tune in Friday night.

It is kind of feeling like only a matter of time. Punk saying that he has no real interest in wrestling. It would be funny if he came back in non wrestling role. Of course, you have to believe that would again be only a matter of time before he gets in the ring.

Do you think there is any chance John Morrison will be on Smackdown this week? I really have no idea when he will be back. Maybe they want to hold him back since Smackdown will already be packed out.

Looking forward to the Jim Cornette review of AEW. lol He won't hold back. You can tell that Big Dave is on the AEW payroll, so he might hold back on negative thoughts. I will still listen. He did sound kinda down when he was talking about CM Punk's thoughts on AEW.

The Rock really is a big bright shining star. I see he did a song for a grandmother that has just turned 100 years old. Says that is the best part of being famous. Awww bless him.

I asked him how much bigger Swagger was than everyone else. Im sure it was as noticeable as when Drew is on the ring.

I asked him how bad Jericho looked in his eating and drinkin too much porkin phase and he said it looked pretty bad.

They said overall it was good show.

Last saw Swagger was in LU and Bellator. He must stay in shape for MMA
