Problem Stringing Gamma Professional with Wise!

After I strung about 5 racquets this week, I decided to string my new Head I-Prestige Mid with the free Gamma Live Wire Professional 16 gauge I recieved with my Gamma X-ST Machine.

Everything was going good, until the last 5 crosses. The string just starting slipping through the linear ball gripper of the Wise Tenison Head. I decide to make an adjustment of screw on gripper. Still, the string kept slipping. I decide to turn off the constant pull on the wise. The string just kept slipping. I was starting to get concerned, because this $20.00 string was getting chewed up. I was about to go get my manuel spring tension head. I ended up having to to just double pull this cross, which I hate to do.

I am still unsure as to what went wrong. Was the gripper too dirty on the Wise Machine. Do I need to make more ajustments to the gripper? Was the string to soft? Will a diablo help out in this this situation? Has anyone else had similar problems?

Professional is really "soft." Sometimes you really have to clamp down on it to get a good grip. I don't like that string. The surface finish/coating is also very unpredictable. Lots of times it will start to get scratched up/marred when pulling through the last few holes (especially on blocked holes). If they were more consistent with the finish, i wouldn't have such strong feelings about it.
