I've heard it breaks easily on the machine. Is this true?
no i have strung 3-4 reels of it until i moved on mutli and they strings easy and play easy.
How tight did you string. I'll probably be stringing at highest 65 lbs
up to around 60 i think, what machine do you use?
Haven't started yet, ordered an ATS super stringer today.
It's solved though for now. I got 16 sets of gamma syn. gut from ATS.
no, i have stung a full real and a bit, and its one of the eisest strings to string
nice gamms syn gut it pretty much like psdg anyway i prefere gamma more orange look . watching serena slide on clay atm.. NOT PRETTY.
Yea, the guy at ATS was really helpful, and the reviews on the gamma were better. optic yellow color too.
like to the extent of my optic yellow.. page 6 awsome sj's =] you'l like.
what gauge is it?
I think it is 16 gauge.
I broke it 3 times stringind @60 sent the reel back to TW they said it was defective and sent another haven't tried it yet.
absolutely zero problems here with Technifibre Syn Gut 17g
Anyone string it at 65 lbs?
i just strung a racquet today at 63lbs on the last 2 crosses (the rest at 58lbs) with a klippermate drop weight stringer, ive been stringing with this same string for the past2 months at least
i am using the technifiber 17g synthetic gut one
but like you everytime i string over 60 lbs, i remeber reading of the people that snapped the string over 60 so i take my time when tensioning higher than 60, but like i said i have done it as far as 63 and no issues thus far
by the way, this string is only good for crosses, it was pretty bad in the mains, too soft for Mains in my opinion
Thanks for your input!
