When I sell or trade racquets I usually pack the frames in 2 USPS prority mail boxes and then use USPS prority mail service. It's really easy and cheap b/c you can get these boxes sent to you for free from e b a y. I've sent out about 10 frames this way and I was very satisfied with the price and service. However, recently when I've gone to ship a racquet USPS has refused to accept this form of packaging. At one post office they claimed that taping 2 boxes together, no matter how much tape I use, isn't secure enough and could lead to damaging the package's contents. At another post office they claimed that this form of packaging is called "piggybacking" and that it screws up their machines. Although I explain that I've sent and received stuff this way many times without a problem they still refuse to allow shipment. Has anyone else had similar problems? If yes what kind of boxes do you now use to send out frames?
