Not to semi-throw a wrench in the thread but if anyone gets a chance to demo or try the Q+Tour 2021 300 version, it’s an amazing racket as well. Layup is a little different than the 315 in a sense that much of the weight seems to be in the middle/throat of the frame (the 315 seems to be more on the handle). Flexes well too and pockets the ball well. The racket has that crisp feel and not super muted. Hits a lot bigger for the 300 weight (probably from the kinetic technology) and it seems that you can get the good stuff of what the 315 offers but in a more maneuverable package. Offers more room for customization as well. Playing with the 315 and 300 side by side as of late and seems like I’m gravitating to the 300 more. I get more consistent clean hits with the 300 because of the maneuverability and seems like the rackets “swings through the air better” because of the layup.

If they really did stiffen it just a shade, that would be very tempting. Or I am tempted because TE has these in stock and no one seems to have the 315. TW was supposed to get some on 8/30 but notta. If I wait too long, I will lose interest realizing I really don't need any more frames.Same mold, but different layup it appears based upon the RA.

I saw TW is having a sale on Prince frames for US Labor Day. 25% off. Great deal. Except PK fight club just doesn’t have the room. And somehow another PK just makes sense. If you build a Briffidi, Limoncellos will come.
It's the fourth rule of Fight Club.

I really wasn't joking about the espresso offer if you can do an L2. But if you go along with this plan, the joke will admittedly be on both of us because the frame is lost, despite what USPS tells me, so this incredible deal (and it truly would be) will never happen. You in?
If he is not, I still would give it a run. I am an L2.
Haha - all of my PK’s are L3. I doubt the espresso/limoncello will be a mystery to me by the time you get yours in, but I’m in if i haven’t bought one by then! We can Kumbuyyah together and maybe it will show upI really wasn't joking about the espresso offer if you can do an L2. I'm told, if USPS can be trusted, that this is just the way international packages sometimes work. Multiply that by pandemic issues, and the problem is compounded. I only want to see how the frame feels/responds to know whether to purchase a Limoncello in my grip size. If it shows, I will reach out to see if you still have interest. Gads says the frame left Poland in great shape. The strings and sticker may have melted, but it'll hit. I'll be in touch if it shows.
If I make it through the weekend without a purchase it will be a true ‘holic miracle. , but knowing this is in play might help. I’ve had the 300 in a cart 3 times already over the past few days. As i click on the 315 just to see date updates for L3’s.I'll send it to PP first, then, @tim-ay, and if you decide by then (who knows when that may be) you must have it, I'm sure PP can forward it on. This one was meant to by a gypsy, obviously.

Those SW and balance numbers make me think they are all exactly the same except for handle weight. The RA is probably just lack of data points and they are publishing one test. Which is really misleading.Ki Q+ Tour Pro (2021) by tobyjug5, on Flickr
It almost has to be lower handle or handle length/ evenly spread. I want to measure them on the SW1, lol. I really don’t think there can be any differences on the head with those numbers. I could do the math, but moving balance .5cm is going to take 15 grams along the handle. I’ve done it before, that’s what it takes. Unless you put it all near the butt cap.So comparing the two Limoncellos, let's just call close enough on balance and swing weight, where are they hiding the extra 15g on the 315? Center (upper handle, throat, lower hoop)?

I was playing around with handle weight on one of my Doppio’s (305) and that’s what it took when spread evenly. I’m back at stock now and not really sure which I like best. I think the 330/330 SW/Static is a pretty great place to be if you can be there. Although 5 or 6 grams different static with 325-331SW seems to play very similarly too. Then things like twist weight can take over. I still need to hit more variety and measure with the SW1 to really figure this out.I did not realize it took that much weight to move balance a half cm on the handle, but that's actually good news to me because that tells me I could reshape the grip (7g on my BA Pro) and, depending on my grip of choice, have essentially the same frame, just a shade lighter than the 315, which is my goal. My BA Pro is 330g, 6hl with a reshaped grip and over grip, and it hits a big ball for me and is plenty stable. I'd expect the Limoncellos to be inherently more powerful and as stable if not more so.

But then again, PP and the boys hitting with 317SW on the Yonex makes me think it’s all just data overload, haha. We like what we like.

The 300 is a different mold...the green 315 is the way to go...
The yellow ProKennex Ki Q 5 Pro and the Green Tour Pro 315 ..
US TW site doesn't have the Green 300..
I hope you're right but this chart has my 300g interest peaked. I weighed all of my most recent sticks – weighted up BLX 6.1 ProStaff 95, DR98, K7 Red & Lime, and TC100 – and they all come in under 12 oz all-in with OG, strings, and dampener. My 315s are 12.1 oz all-in right now.
At the end of the day, I need to remind myself that we're splitting hairs of PK awesomeness here. Let's see how long I can hold off scratching that itch!
After this morning's session back on the green clay, I'm ordering a 300g version. I have no issues with the 315g itself and I think it would/will work out just fine on the hard courts but the honeymoon period is over and I've accepted being too old/slow for a 343g all-in frame - thin beam or not.
My old DR98 opened my eyes to using a lighter frame that's not quite as handle heavy but that's still plenty stable with good control and power. Here's hoping the 300g delivers the same for me in a thinner beam thanks to Lorenzo's magic beans! I'll keep everybody posted as my journey continues.
Your racket is 343 grams with just string, overgrip and dampener? Sounds like you got a heavier than normal frame to me. Your racket should weight 337 to 338 strung with overgrip and dampener. After this morning's session back on the green clay, I'm ordering a 300g version. Interesting… do you have any weight on the handle of the 300 or are you playing it stock?
305 is the magic number.Added a leather grip and that's it. My racket came in at 299 grams after I took off the rubber collar thing by where the replacement grip is taped. With leather, ended up being 305 grams unstrung.
Yeah the green is a little better than the previous one IMO, but I was hoping for their white throat design to come back.I can't lie, one of the reasons I've put off demoing some ProKennex frames is I don't find the cosmetic attractive at all. it reminds me of nascar cars, with stickers and lettering all over.

I'm waiting for the Tour Pro 325 to come back in for demoing. It's one of last racquets I have to hit with. Really can't wait to feel a PK player frame. The PJs are not good. The frames are though.
I like the stand out colour, gets noticed ‘new racket?’. Great to see Seppi continuing to fly the green flag taking down the 10th seed. The PJs are not good. The frames are though.
Just received my racket. It's dead on spec! Exactly as advertised. Looks like Yonex has some competition. I've included a bunch of pictures comparing it to my trusty 2015 PS97. They are very similar in shape and overall specs. I'm not sure why some people have an issue with PK paint jobs. I really like the paint job on this Tour Pro. It's worth mentioning that this racket is very solid feeling from tip to handle. None of that hollow throat crap like Head and Babolat. Super solid!

You sure it’s not a SW vs static weight issue? The 315 Limoncello has a beefy 330 SW.
That’s why the the 300 is the way to go IMO for the class of 2021. My 2019 Espresso 315’s are just about 12oz with an OG and damp, but cut through the air like demons because of the lower SW (~320).
PK did do something to the layup though because they upped the SW while keeping balance and static weight the same vs the 2019. Limoncellos appear to be more polarized.
Although 10 SW pts is only like 3 grams at 12.
Hadn’t thought about it from that angle before but you could be right. I suppose we’ll see when my 300s arrive next week!
That avatar though....
