Pros and Cons of leather grips

Well, i want to know the pros and cons of using leather grips in my raquet and in your opinion which is the best leather grip you have ever used ???

thanks.

Pros: You can feel the bevels much better.

Cons: It is harder than synthetic grips.

The rest of the qualities are up to personal preference and not necessarily pros or cons. For example a leather grip will be heavier than most synthetics, so it will increase the weight of your racquet and make it more headlight. They can also be thinner than synthetic grips, making your grip size feel slightly smaller

Does anyone know wich leather grip is the lightest of all?

Does anyone know wich leather is least thick?

And does anyone know how the TW leather is compared to others?

thanks

Pros: You can add weight easily and evenly.

Cons: Hard, you can feel the bevels too much (for me, it's mainly an advantage for others).

TW 1.3mm leather grip is fab, helped me downsize a grip comfortably.

I had Gamma leather grips on my AG200's for a while and loved the feel of them.

The down side would be that since I have a vice for a grip I would get nasty calluses and bloody blisters even with an over grip. The bloody blisters would keep me off the court for a day so I decided it wasn't worth it.

in terms of weight...I guess if you put a leather grip vs a synthetic replacement grip, you should find that the leather grip weighs a little more...

however, is that weight differential so great that you could "feel" it whilst swinging or is it so great that it you could "feel" that it considerably affects the balance and swingweight of the racket, I honestly do not think so....but that's just my opinion...

A few months ago, I decided to try using a leather replacement grip with a Wilson Pro overgrip...it took about half an hour to get used to it...because it actually does give you more feedback upon ball impact compared to a synthetic replacement grip with an overgrip...mainly due to the synthetic material "absorbing" much of the feedback...

If you actually appreciate the feedback...then yes you would like it...

Personally, I will stick to leather replacement grips forever!

the downside is...the harder handle/grip may give you problems with calluses...

I love my TW leather with an overgrip. Even though it hurt at first, I liked the feeling immediately. My hands got used to it quickly though. I can feel the bevels more. I just personally like the feel of my stick a lot more now.

My buddy tried my racquet and thought the grip was the most terrible thing he had ever felt. He uses a cushion grip with a thick overgrip.
