I've heard that the majority of the pros on the ATP Tour use a racket that is at least a little longer than the standard 27 inches. Is this true?

Around 75 percent i've heard but it's difficult to know cause the majority of the pros are using paintjobs.

I have a list from the string service at Monte Carlo 2003. They also indicated the racquet legths. About 50 percent used longer sticks, enlarged between 0.5 and 2.5 cm.

Probably more because you can generate more racquet head speed and torque so more spin and power. Since more guys are baseline bashers this becomes especially important. The fact that clay courters are midgets is just coincidence...

I am more of serve and volley, but have used 27.5 and 28 inch for years. That little bit more power and spin can make a world of difference.
