I've heard that the small grips allow to have more wrist snapping, so you can get more power. But it can also hurt your wrist. Big grips on the other side allow better control.
I feel with a smaller grip the racquet feels more head light, easier to move.
Personally I feel better with a small grip, it gives me more confidence to snap my wrist on serves and more control on ground strokes.
I have farily small hands, and should be using a 4 3/8 grip. But I prefer a larger grip. Iuse a 4 5/8 grip and then add tournagrip. I feel I have more feel/control of the racquet. However, I agree that a smaller grip could give you more power.
I was amazed to find out that Federer uses a 4 3/8 grip. This is the grip size that i use! Mabey I should try using a 4 1/8 grip from now on and see how it goes...
Yep you told me when I was adding my comments on Chelsea and their Champions League run last year.
It will be interesting to see how Chelsea perform with all their new players that Roman wasted his pocket money on. I bet your strikers (The ones you got left) are quaking in their boots of Ferreira!!!
