Hello guys! As a guy who always breaks strings, i want to get a beginner friendly, not so expensive stringing machine, so i can save some cash. I live in a smaller europian country, where I don’t have lot of options, so after searching for a while theese are the two machines i found, that would be even reasonable to buy. The Penta Premium 3600 costs around 100 bucks more, then the pros pro hornet. I found some replys on the Penta Premium 3600 that it doesn't have the best clamping system, but I didn't find any relevant thing on the pros pro hornet. So which one should i buy? Do you guys have any experience with any of theese machines? Thanks

Not sure about the Hornet, but we did try the Tomcat, which is the higher end Pros Pro model. The mounting system is a single dial locking system for the side mounts, and our friend who owned the Tomcat bought it because lower end like the Hornet and Phoenix(?) are individual dials for each mount billiards. The Penta 3600 we tried had a single dial for securing the side mounts. Clamps can be upgraded to diamond dusted ones if you feel they are lacking.
As for other choices, Gamma has a presence in the EU,

Gamma Machines are overpriced and much to expensive for their quality. You shoud check the stringmaster pro 50 or the superstringer 3600 which is the improved follower of the premium stringer 3600 which will not produced anymore.
They have much higher quality and much better clamps (tourna also use this at their more expensive machines) Then the lower quality china machines from pro‘s pro

This may be true and is probably good advice but IMO you should also disclose that you have a commercial interest in the recommended machines.

I have a Hornet, bought it second hand so no clue how old this thing was. Had a small issue with one of the bases of a clamp, repaired it. Further the lock system on the bar does not properly lock strings of 1.20mm, so I had to put a piece of paper in there. With strings > 1.25mm no problem though.

All in all very happy with the machine, I only string for myself, use it appox once a week and does the job
