Pro's Racquets and Wilson

i Recently heard from a source and a few wilson reps that wilson has forced all there players to play with the stock sticks. Hence delpo and federer now playing with these blx sticks. I think this has something to do with wilson getting angry with them spending all this money for players custom frames and them federer, delpo and a few other players going to P1 and dishing out hundreds of thousands for them to further customization.
i also heard that once canas lost his tennis racquets so he called up gaudio and asked to borrow the racquets..he let him borrow them but he forced canas to send them back asap since those are his only racquets; why wouldnt wilson make him anymore? i think they have stopped there custom racquets and they are making everyone just play the blx.... you will notice difference in most wilson playing pros lately.. you can here the blx and mutedness.
those are just examples...any thoughts?

Not a chance that Wilson is "forcing" players to play solely with stock frames. All players play with customized frames.

Don't forget that players sometimes play with different setups depending on the surface, e.g. a slightly different setup on grass vs clay.

I think when you've made £57 million on court alone then you don't give a flying f... whether Wilson gives you a bit more money to change off of what you've used to make all your previous money. Honestly, do you think Fed's that desperate for the money?

A company like Wilson would not make a statement like that to there players. At the moment, they wont and cant lose any players, esp whe head are snapping up anyone. I know a top UK junior who uses the N six one 95 and had it pj'd to a k factor and now BLX, you would never know looking at it, never. A lot of times its predictions, If i turned up on the tour with a Prestige, I'm sure everyone would be saying its an older version. Wilson tell the reps and other related poeple these romuos so people believe stuff like what you have.

Federer and Del Po would be worthless to Wilson if they started losing their matches. No reason for Wilson to get "angry" over them not using their new line, they could care less what their players play with as long as the average consumer thinks it's the latest line.

They know absolutely nothing about whats really going on in the pro game, most barely play themselves and apparently whatever their respected company comes out with currently is the greatest and must have item that ever existed....that is until 2 years later when a new line comes out. Don't buy into the BS

The only thing Wilson cares about is weather of not Federer and DelPo are sporting the newest paint schemes. What's under the paint, they couldn't care less.

Nothing has changed at Wilson and your source(s) is wrong.

A lot of reps are on commision,the more sticks a store sells the better it is for their "patch" why would they say anything lik "oh we have this new tech, it's $50 more than the old stuff and none of our tour players use it but please buy it"

I know that the lower ranked players, like me, do not get the custom made frames anymore. You have to be ranked inside the top 150 from 2010 or you have to have really good contacts.

Of course they work on commission, thats their income. There's a Head rep in my area that I just cannot stand. He's a good guy and all but he never shuts up and its always the latest and greatest that he has. He used to be a Gosen rep beforehand and kept preaching how Gosen was the best, now its how Head is the greatest haha always funny to listen to. Its like a used car salesman

One thing I noticed is that Wilson is now spreading around the paintjobs of all their new racquets just to say so and so is using that racquet.

I find it impossible that most of the Wilson players are all switched to BLX. It's all just the paint job illusion, don't believe what a manufacturer tells you...they want to sell new products, that's it and that's all...
