I remember that you got sponsored...do you play for any college or anything? Because you seem to be quite the tennis player

Can I join?

I have a Jack Kramer Pro Staff ...

I also love the JK PS especially with 15..15L gut strung 45..50 lbs. The wilson advantage is another great playing stick. As for the other pro staffs, the ps 60 the best, the 6.1 is another classic, the the tour 90 is another great addition to this family.

lol....no, just league. I had a scholarship years ago, but I chose baseball instead. Ended up blowing my pitching elbow and took a leave of all sports for a long time. Several years back I climbed up to around a 5.5-6.0 rating, blew same elbow. Once again left tennis again, back at it again. Now I am back to a 4.5, and I teach around 20 kids and teens tennis at no charge. I am now 32 and plan on peaking at a 5.0 rating, don't quite move like I use to. I believe they feel that I can market their products.

I still love my PS 4.7 EB Stretch 115" frames. I played them stock from 1998-2005, strung at about 70 lbs with Problend - IMO it's the best stock racquet ever made. Solid all around performer - very good for hammering down huge kick serves. It's specs are unique (68 RDC, 346 SW, 10.3 oz. strung, 27.75").

I have one set up at 365 SW and 12.6 oz that I break out when I want to play Sampras-style, with penetrating groundies, booming flat serves and precision volleys.

Wow, that is one unique racquet, sounds like it took you a lot of time to setup those specs!

I bought the PS85 pj racquet from someone. I believe they were sold by TW at one point.

BTW, I have a "ForSale" ad in the Sale/Trade section. I'm not married to the racquet and will sell it for the right price.

I'll post the remainder of my ProStaff collection. I'm still missing the elusive Pro Staff 6.0 90 Midplus.

Gawd No. I'm not a baseline basher at all. I prefer being up at the net to finish a point, so I prefer a fairly high HL balance and a SW around the mid 330s.

I find my POG mid and Mfil 300 volley better with SW2, reflex volleys dont lose effectiveness beause what you lose in manouvreabiltiy you gain in solidity at the net, meaning your shot will be more effective if you get a racquet on it. Everyone has their own opinion on it thougt, just because i like it, doesnt mean you have to.

Mind if I joined in.. I just got my 2 new nPro Staff 95's.. Some people have told me they were not a great stick.. But I love them..

"who on the tour plays with an n90? not even Fed.
Fed just played its paintjob."

That is one of the most ridiculous posts i have seen on this board and from someone with over 1000 posts. I play with n90's becuase i like them not becuase fed used the paintjob, ever heard of demoing. I suppose you just copy what the pros do, what stick you using: a pure drive roddick strung with pro hurricane tour and gut?

I own 9 PS tour 90

I seem to play with pro staff all my life starting with the 85 original back when my hero was Edberg, Sampras, courier, Conner (he played with PS briefly) and so many other players. I switch to PS tour 90 in 2003 and still using it today. There is a mystic about pro staff racquet. Once you play with it for so long there is no other racquet comes close for replacement. I now understand why Sampras play with his PS until retired.

My String:

17g – Natural Gut – Tonic at 60lbs
