PS 6.0 95 vs BLX2 Six One 95

Been thinking about the BLX2 version (white/red/gold), with the box beam instead of thin beam. How does it compare to the GOAT PS 6.0 95? I imagine it would be a little stiffer, but how is it feel-wise?

They're still pricey most listings that I see, so it must be pretty decent. What says the Classics?

never heard the midplus version of the 6.0 ever being called the goat...

I'm also in the market for one of these 95s.
Reviews seem to indicate it's got that classic feel, just low powered with low swingweight.
Easy to get the swingweight up with some lead.
I feel like these were all over the place a few years ago for cheap, now I can barely find one.

Long time 6.0 95 user here, I only hold one of those BLX 95's in my hand, and they are way lighter than my lighter 6.0's - I have some in the lighter side, and some heavy ones., total about 7 racquets
Those BLX's feel like a toy compared to 6.0 95, but they can be good racquets, I don't know...

Not only they were lighter, they were way flexier (some folks may like it, but I don't), it just feels somewhat flimsy for me.

(vs the solid feel of the PS 6.0 95, I can never understand why Wilson deviated from it for the PS 95s)

Wilson should have a proper boxed beam mid sized pro staff available in their line, always, like VW does with the Golf
The 6.0 95 is a winner, they don't have to change the formula that much, maybe a lighter "team" version for those who go with lighter sticks, or 18x17 for spinners, maybe change the name for "PS Tour" or so

You mean the BLX2 as in the prostaff six one 95 blx(2) with the 'amplifeel' word on the handle right? (the racquet in this review?) It just has the big "BLX" letters on the handle, not "blx2". I have one and it's 17.5mm classic thin box/retangular edged beam which I thought still meant a thin beam. It's very light feel, and quick to swing but has the oldschool thin beam maneuverability. Yeah, some say it may feel 'flimsy'. I also added weight tape at the 3,9, and 12 oclock for a bit more swingweight and plow. Very comfortable and smooth to swing, practically no stress on the arm and joints (imo), so maybe good for some older players concerned about arm stress too, and much lighter than the heavier feel of a ktour90.

Customer reviews of the racquet from archive tw: ( "wilson prostaff six one 95 blx customer feedback" )

In my opinion, it's a unique combo of a modern "light tweener" feel, with fast racquet head speed and spin friendly, but physically in an oldschool wilson orthogonal edged thin frame 95.

There seems to be more on offer again on the bay. The secondhand ones are cheaper at closer to $100, while there seems to be more preserved frames also, which range higher at $200 to $300+.
