PS, Blade, & Burn Pro Stocks - No matte?

I've been taking notice that the above mentioned paint jobs for pro stocks don't have the matte black finish. I guess it's safe to assume that the velvet finish on the retail versions aren't just for cosmetic purposes? @PeterFig? Is it possible that the matte finish offers more dampening? Watching the Dimi vs Goffin match you could obviously see that the black on both racquets had a shine to them under the lights.

more dampening? its paint lol. are you a troll?

I'd argue is just for TV cosmetisc. Shiny is good on screen... or player preference (has a different feel to it in the off hand)

It is interesting because Raonic is straight glossy, Fed is straight matte, and Dimitrov is somewhere in the middle.

No troll here. That probably sounded absurd about the dampening effect. Sorry. I'm probably reading too much into it. Your right, it's just paint.

The players just don't like the feel of the rubber paint and the laser etching in their off hand. I know I much prefer the feel of glossy paint to matte and rubber paint. In fact I hate the feel of rubber paint.

Paint finish is just cosmetic. No performance difference.
