Hi guys, I just bought a ps97 and it weights 309g unstrung on my digital scale (which is calibrated). Is this normal??

326 strung so deducting 15g or more for strings will get you around there. Poly is heavier than some/most multis

But did you weight it unstrung? 6g difference from its specification is normal?
Yes. It is well known that Wilson has some quality control issues from what I understand... There are a lot of variations between their racquets.

Yours really isn't far off though.

You're 2% light which is OK since you can add lead tape and an OG to bring it to what you like. If the frame came in unstrung at 322 grams, then you would have a lot more trouble modifying it. BTW, this is Wilson QC we're talking about and yes, 6 grams may seem excessive, they would pass anything within 3-4%.

Wilson list that racket at 315 g so you're about 2% off. I just bought a Tecnifibre 320 and it weighed 319.17 g.

I have two, one is noticeably heavier which I prefer. But I have no idea how much they each actually weigh. A tennis friend of mine is also having the same experience, though he prefers the lighter one.
