Yes indeed.
So confusing
Yes indeed.
I played just over a year with TC95 18x20 63RA and since a few months I switched to TC97 18x20 (because I wanted a little more foregiveness).
They play very similar to me but the feel is the most noticable difference.
I agree with Paul that the TC95 has a softer feel that I actually prefer over the TC97.
The TC97 has a crisper feel that reminds me of a Wilson Blade. It even felt harsh with a full poly stringbed (Luxilon BB Ace at 23/22 kg) to me. I had to string the TC97 with a hybrid multi/poly stringbed at a lower tension (23/21 kg).
Though I never had the chance in order to hit with a PT57A I also suggest the TC95 or TC100 63RA has a feel that is closer to the PT57A.
Maybe can you send me a PT57A to test this?
Uhm. How would you know?
I only have a PC600.Maybe can you send me a PT57A to test this?
I didn't hit with it but I think K7 'll feel very similar to my Völkl C10 Pro that also contains a graphite kevlar composition. Now there's also the k7 to confuse it more

The C10 pro also feels more muted than the Angells to me.
Yes I agree. Though the K7 has a higher RA value than a PT57A I can imagine the K7 might feel as soft because of the bigger headsize and open pattern vs the (actual) 95 sq inch head size and dense 18x20 stringbed of the PT57A.Well considering head used Twaron (Aramid/kevlar) in their decent frames and the K7 flex profile is more similar to that of the 95 I think it has more chance of being similar to head pro stock than other Angells.

Yeah I read that too. A little strange because the advertised RA value is 64 unstrung.Well Subaravich measured the flex of the K7 at 55 for some reason and Topspn says it has noticeable flex as well. I am really interested in why tgis has happened or just a one off with first batch? Would be similar to the Andy Murray frame at 55 ra I would guess but his frame has a pretty tight pattern.
I saw somewhere here that tc97 feels like H22 xD
neither the tc95 63ra, nor the tc97 (both 16x19) i played with felt really plush and soft.
my worn-out lm radical mp feels plusher than both angells.
if you have the chance you should demo the pacific xforce pro no.1.
I remember playing with Yonex Dr 98 lime colour and it was super soft. Never felt the impact that way. Very very comfortable but the power was a bit too big for me. Blue colour of the dr 98 was imo a bit stiffer but much more control oriented. I know many ppl here think I am crazy with my theory ;p I had 2 limes in my hand, 5 blue and still my theory was correct.Yes, pt57a is famous for is buttery feel and so on. I'm searching a racquet that is buttery plush and control oriented (and that i don't have to pay 300€ a frame).
I tried textreme tour 95, i.prestige mp, pro kennex q+tour 300, donnay formula, donnay pro one gt, pro staff ls (2014), new wilson ultra 100, new head extreme (yellow).
Of all these frames, the pro kennex q+tour 300 is the butteriest (can I say that in english? ). But is buttery thanks to something that "absorbs" the force of the impact and somehow hide the feel you get on the stroke. On the contrary the textreme tour 95 gets you really connected to the ball but is nowhere near that kind of buttery feel.
The i.prestige mp was plush too, kinda muted.
I was expecting one of the angell frames to be closer to the buttery feel i'm searching but still with great control and feel.
Is the pacific good in that aspect?
i played for years with a fischer pro no.1 and that racquet had the best feel (together with the yonex rdx 500 mid or the yonex rqis1 95 toour) and due to the 16x20 pattern also good control.I was expecting one of the angell frames to be closer to the buttery feel i'm searching but still with great control and feel.

The truth lies in realizing that all racquets of similar construction play pretty much the same, from vintage PT 630s, to TC95s, to TC97s, to Andy Murray's personal stock.Hi, I saw people saying pt57a play really similar to tc95 and others saying tc97 is closer.
Paul (or the customer service? I don't know), via message, said that pt57a users could be more familiar with the tc95-tc100 feeling.
where's the truth?
I have a pt630 and had a tc97 and they played so similar that I switched between both. The tc97 is a little easier to use. More power and a little more forgiving.
Yeah of course. Don't get a 16x19 if you want a frame that feels like a PT630.18x20?

Tc95 is not very Head-like its more like Dunlop's 95 inch 200series... it has max200g like qualities and heritage and PS85-like qualities too but far bigger spin. S2W called it "Thor's hammer" once
I feel like the classic Heads are more measured and "daaaaaaang" reaction inducing.
a day at the office... I cant even explain (favorite scene from any superhero movie though)

since the pacific xforce pro no. 1 has the same mold, i assume that it feels similar enough to the fischer (also the reviews point in that direction)
so if you can demo the pacific you should do it (but lead it up first).
