Pure aero like but with ability to flatten out

Currently playing with 2019 aero 100, and i really like it for everything except not having the ability to flatten out at times.

Have tried pure aero 98 and vcore 98.

Pure aero 98: Unforgiving for my level 4.0 (especially on the backhand, but loved it on the forehand)
Vcore 98: Felt very underpowered

Thinking of trying the following next:

ezone 98
ezone 100

Are there any other rackets you'd suggest that meet the criteria?

The current pure aero is an easy option. 2019 aero might be the widest string spacing ever. I actually snap my poly in that racquet unlike my Ezone 98 that I have to cut out.
Pure aero 2019 is a string eating spin machine.
Current pure drive might even do the trick. Tons of spin due to its high stiffness and still fairly open string design.

Basically anything that isn’t a 2019 pure aero will probably accomplish your goal.

The current version has a tighter string pattern in the sweet spot. I haven’t tried it but everyone says it offers better control than the rather wild 2019 version.

If you want a racquet that for sure allows you to flatten out while still playing similar to the Pure Aero, I would suggest you try the Yonex Ezone 100. It has perhaps the most controlled string pattern of the power “tweeners”. It is a really good racquet.

Yeah, I also found it challenging with PA 2019 to manage weak balls in the midcourt where you need to flatten and drive the ball. PA 2019 is very unforgiving if you dont time it perfectly and ends up sailing long. Many control rackets like blade, prostaff do this very well (but obviously less on power). I found PA 2016 more upto the task for flattening out the balls compared to 2019. I was optimistic about the 2022 PA, but didnt gel with it for a few reasons. I would think PD would be suitable, but havent tried it extensively.

yes, the crosses really do chew through the mains fast.

Exactly my problem, i can get my opponent to pop one in mid-court, but not always able to put it away even my feet are in the right spot, there is no way to hit without spin.

I have tried a bunch of “spin” frames like Pure Aero, Extreme MP, Vcore 100 etc etc, and I have decided that I will never again buy one of those. I just don’t gel with them. Too high launch angle for me.

With the Ezone 100 I can just “hit” and don’t have to think about spin. I get it but don’t need tons of it to keep the ball in.

But , that’s me :)

Yeah, I hear you. Have you tried 2022 PA? I liked it for serves and volleys, but didnt like it for ground strokes. Balls had depth, but didnt have plow through I felt. In 2016 PA the ball plow through was proportional to how much momentum I was able to transfer to ball ( even true with PA 2019). 2022 PA didnt behave that way for some reason.

Also my game has improved and I am also casually looking for a more suitable racket as I have evolved to a more all court player from baseline player.

Maybe try the shift 99? I found it easy to flatten (relatively) while still giving good access to spin like the aero

Radical graphene 360+ Mp or Auxetic Radical MP, 2022 ezone 98. Tighter control string patterns with plenty of power on tap if you string poly mid to high 40s. To me these frames have more inherent power than say a blade or prostaff. They both have excellent stability and take a small amount of lead very well. With both, you create your own shot/spin with stroke mechanics. The ezone is going to be the more user friendly experience while the radicals require you to hit with full intention and are a little more finicky to dial in.
