Pure Aero Replacement

If you're going with that extra weight and plow then try the AeroStorm from a few years back. They're dirt cheap on the bay and they play amazingly! Just a bit too heavy for me...

Ok, got to try out RF97, and Pure Drive. PD was dissapointing, too much vibration and I couldn't really hit clean, powerful shots. It may be the low static weight, and maybe PDT will be better. However, the RF97 was amazing. This was the 2015 version, but everything was very good; groundstrokes, serves, volleys. Everything had more depth, and the racquet just had effortless power. I was truly amazed by it. One negative is that my wrist started to hurt after the first set or so. It may be the grip size, I use #2 usually, and the racquet was a #4. I was afraid with the RF that it would get too sluggish, as some have stated in reviews, but it was fine. Could anybody compare the RF with the new Pure Strikes/VS tour? Im interested in these two, want to see other people's opinions
This may seem counterintuitive, but I can switch between the 16x19 Pure Strikes and the RF97A pretty easily. You really can't go wrong with either of those, I think. The only big difference is how quickly you want or are able to end points. If your points are always short then the RF97A will work just fine. If you grind a bit more and have quite a few long matches, then a Pure Strike may suit you better.

You could always add lead tape to the Pure Strike if you find it a bit light, whereas the RF97A you can't do anything about if you decide later that it's too heavy.
