Paint job fail. Apparently this is what French people think Americans like?
It's a complete insult to the American flag and what it stands for.
The morons at Babolat can't even get the number of stripes right or the stars, and have cannibilized it for own dumb logo.
I wouldn't use this abomination of a racket if you paid me.
Nah. That's how we find Americans are like.Paint job fail. Apparently this is what French people think Americans like?

F*CK YEAH!
Not really, I do think it's polarizing but it's bound to find its market regardless; or at least when reading the threads around here, it really was polarizing. Nevermind those who actually want to play with an AeroStorm and will overlook the paintjob anyway if the frame is good enough. I even think that the paintjob will grow on some people just like the RF97's paintjob that many found fairly average to say the least.Lol.
The paint job looks like something someone would use to make fun of Americans. It's basically a joke. Doubt this frame sells well at all in the states.

It may be a great racquet, but anyone pulling that out of their bag at my club would probably get laughed off the court, unless they were doing it as a joke with a Captain America costume on for Halloween. This is a case where a non-American company missed something culturally in the translation.
Anyone know how much it costs to black out a racquet?![]()
I got away with mauve OGs being confused as being pink (which they could have and I wouldn't have cared either way). I think anyone who likes the racquet or/and the paintjob enough isn't gonna be sensitive enough to care about that.It may be a great racquet, but anyone pulling that out of their bag at my club would probably get laughed off the court, unless they were doing it as a joke with a Captain America costume on for Halloween. Guitars with the much more controversial the Confederate flag sell anywhere, regardless of the nationality of the user. And in that case, it's really purely cosmetic. Figures.Pure Aero VS: Endorsed by Donald Trump
It is a ridiculous pj and I'm not a big fan at all. As an American it's ok to hit with but I can see it being embarrassing for you Asians and Europeans. Like I said above, you may just have to ignore the paint and focus on the playability <3 That's what racquets are for anyway![]()
Bags are already back orderedLol.

You guys don't understand. The big deal with this racquet is that the long awaited (at least on this sub) Aero Storm has finally been re-released. I personally have not hit with it but from the amount of hype for this stick that was being felt a few months ago, the pj really doesn't matter.
You forgot to call it a "Freedom" company, Mr. Rumsfeld.I'd say that you're the one who doesn't understand. 14 stripes for 13 original States? Only a dumb French company like Babolat would butcher another country's flag and not understand it's history.
If you really must have this racket - another Babolat sales and marketing stick aimed at people who change rackets every couple of months - wait for the black and yellow version.

On a side note; (your signature) ever seen Youzhny? that guy cracks me up!!!
were gonna have to wait 2 weeks for the video review.. per TW......also Im thinking the whole JACK SOCK for president/ presidential campaign and the Olympics are playing a role in PJ.
If it hits nice... its mine...plus if your good and whoop up on people with it.. thats even better .....especially if they are sippin Hater-aid
It is a fantastic frame. Maneuverable , easy on the arm, and has a great combination of feel and power. I think it is one of the best frames they have made.Youzhny needs to go to an anger management clinic.
Seriously though, has anyone hit with this racquet? How does it play? I'm dying to know right now![]()
It does not feel like the 2010 version. More nimble and better feel.TW may just link the old 2010 AeroStorm review. It was pretty crappy IMO.

I like it.I really don't mind the PJ actually.

You're just about as representative for all Americans as Hillary Clinton is.That's because you're German.
You say that about every product going. Even products which are terrible you say that you 'love' etc.
TW won't give you a job if don't have credibility.

Brittany,rvernsey,
Due to a manufacturing error, the unstrung spec weight printed on the throat of the racquet is incorrect. The correct unstrung weight should be listed as 295g/ 10.4 oz.
Thanks,
Brittany, TW
Definitely not an insult. A real insult to America would be, for example An American company like Wilson, moving manufacturing offshore. Like to China perhaps.I don't see the insult. This isn't the first time a sporting goods company has released a tribute to the american flag. It won't be the last. I really don't get the "historical accuracy" thing. We are planning a 4th of July party and I'm pretty sure most of the things we got at Party City do not have the right number of stars or stripes.
I find it a little garish but that wouldn't prevent me from playing with it if I felt it was the right racquet. That said, given a choice, I would go for a more understated version.
It's a little light but I like the specs. Was the original a good seller?
