Pure Drive 98 box beam?

The upper portion of the hoop is box beam. The lower portion of the hoop and into the throat is a more traditional pure drive beam. Sort of a hybrid. I ordered a demo from TW but the one I was sent was so head heavy feeling I didn’t even hit a ball with it

the stiffness thing is interesting because i think Beckett is reporting Babolat's official specs. Similar to the 100 where babolat says 72 +/- 3 RA, but TW reports strung 66RA which would mean it's at the low end of that range.

The fact Babolat flex can range by 6 RA and still be within tolerance is wild

Part of the racket that needs to travel n move the fastest has turned into a box?

Hey I didn’t design the racket lol. I thought it was an interesting choice as well. The upper hoop reminded me of an old pure storm/aero storm a bit

It is not Babolat, it is every manufacturer pretty much. The rackets are still made by hand and vary a lot and I do not believe the RA is measured at QC
