Pure Drive AND Pure Drive Plus?

Whats the big difference between the BAbolat pure drive and pure drive plus,other than the 1/2 inch added lenth. I owned a PD + and thought it had to much power for me. I think the lenth had something to do with why i didnt like it. I want a PD standard now, but will it be that different from the PD +. Also, which string and what tension would you suggest on the PD to give great playablitity and control? Am a 15 year old junior so was the plus too much for me, will the PS standard be better?

FWIW, I feel exactly the same way you do about the PD+.
