Pure Drive clones?

Is it me or does every brand now has a stick that plays like the Pure Drive with the same specs. Here are the Pure Drive clones that I've identified, are there any more?

The 300 weighs 11.1/315g. It's the 315 that weighs 11.7/332g. String add 15+ grams.

The clones are usually less stiff, so the PD is usually more powerful.

I had a demo.of the 2012 version of the Speedflex 300 and its flex rating is actually higher than the PD. What surprised me though is that it didn't play as harsh as I thought it would. Maybe it was the silicone in the handle but the frame felt great to me. Though after a recent test session of pure drive like frames, I've chosen the Bio 500 Tour. I had played the 4d version when it first came out and the new Bio just feels better to me.

I would venture to say that these frames aren't clones. Yes, the specs are similar but they play very differently... At least for me .

+1 on this. I really like all the comforts of having a Volkl + PDGTR. I can give my heating pads some rest.

Well, I would say the Pure Drive popularized the 300g 320mm MP high stiffness frame.

To say the Volkl 8 or the Dunlop 500 series are PD clones is like saying the Camero was a Mustang clone (or whichever came first.. I don't know).

Volkl Organix 8 300 is definitely a Pure Drive clone. The 315 is more of an AeroPro Drive clone.

It seems that Babolat took the original Destiny and did a far better job of marketing it that PK did.
