Currently playing the Babolat Pure Storm Tour GT Plus. Since it's discontinued, the Pure Control Tour Plus looks like a almost exact replacement. Almost identical weight, balance, swing weight and flex. Anyone have experience with both? Any feel or performance difference? I've hit the standard PCT but it's swing weight is much lighter than PST+, PCT+ as well as the standard PST. Too light to use it as a basis for comparison. Would love to hear from someone who has hit the plus version. I've checked all of the TWU comparisons. Looking for some real world experiences.

The pure storm limited was/is the same mold as the PC 95, the pure control tour plus is the same mold as as the pure storm plus.
I asked about the pure control tour plus and only got a few responses. One liked it a few didn't. I haven't gotten to hit with it, but modify my racquets to around 12.5 ounces/around 8 points hl/340-345 swing weight. So by looking at the specs of the PC plus, I doubt the specs and playability would bother me. I'm guessing it wouldn't bother you either if you already play similar specs.
But again...it's all speculation since I haven't hit with it yet.

FYI: The Pure Control and Pure Control Plus are not being discontinued. They are being re-branded as 'Pure Strike CTRL', as per @Babolat Official. The mold is NOT changing, although the specs very well may be changing.
As far as the Pure Control 95...if you've been playing with the Pure Storm Tour Plus, you likely don't want to bother with the 95. Its a completely different frame and plays nothing like the Pure Storm.

Yes, the Pure Control is not being discontinued. It will continue on as the Pure Strike CTRL (and Tour, plus, etc, I do not have specifics on models yet.)
Do you find the PCT+ "clunky" compared to the PST+ or just "clunky" in general?
Thanks. That helps. I'm playing the PST+ and love it. Based on spec alone, the PCT+ looks like a near exact replacement which is what I'm looking for. Only difference I see outside of paint color is "flex carbon" which simply sounds like marketing jargon.
From Babolat's position, what difference should I find between the Pure Storm Tour Plus and the Pure Control Tour Plus if any?
My apologies for believing they were being discontinued. I knew the lines were being merged but I was unaware that they meant zero change to the frames.
With regards to the PCT+, I agree with the TW review of the frame. I just didn't like it. Much like the Pure Strike Tour...I just felt the other versions of the frame were better in every single way. Simply put, my rating for the Pure Control line would look like this: PC95+ > PCT > PC95 > Pure Control > PCT+

I've been reading that PC 95+ get good reputation from many and I demoed Pure Storm ltd+ to realize this is not for my game. (Unfortunately not PC95+)
well maybe the string setup problem but it was very lower powered frame than I thought and I've never played with that low one before.
So my question is,
should I consider trying PC 95+ and or could judge this frame by PureStorm ltd+ without a second thought?
the one I demoed was PureStorm ltd+, whitish frame with black stripe PJ. second to last version of pure storm?

The Pure Control 95+ was updated with slight modifications from the Pure Storm Limited +. Your best bet is to demo the frame. Nothing beats on court demos.
