Pure Strike Team, add some lead to go closer to Pure Strike 100

My son plays with a Pure Strike Team. Strung weight is around 10.8 and balance on TW shows 1PT HL.

I play with a Pure Strike 100. Strung weight is around 11.6 and balance on TW shows 4PT HL.

My teenage son is almost ready for the Pure Strike 100, but instead of making a huge jump from the Team to the 100, what if I add like 6-9 grams and bring the racket weight to around 11.1oz.

Where should I put the lead? I was thinking right at the throat to get the balance the same, but then I read its better to put at 3 & 9 o'Clock, and counter balance it at the handle?

Goal is to make the Pure Strike Team to be an in-between racket towards Pure Strike 100.

Since the Team is 15g lighter than the 100, and the Team balances 3pts less HL, all of the weight difference between those sticks is in the handle or near to that area. Hence, to make the Team more like the 100 you need to add around 15-16g to the handle, which you could do by changing the base grip to a leather grip (+ 6-10g typically) and add an overgrip (6g). Or you could consider adding weight there in other ways like putting putty in the butt-cap or wrapping electrical tape or lead underneath the grip. Just depends on what current grip size you have and want to end up with. You could get to a similar result with lead just above the handle if you don't want to alter the grip, but the grip area modification is probably most similar to the difference in those sticks from the factory. You could also trial a half-way modification by adding just around 8g first.
