Pure Strike vs Pure Strike Tour

Hey guys,

which one out of these 2 would you choose and why? Unfortunately I cannot test but I have to choose one but I m not sure which one to take.

Any thoughts and recs?

If you like the weight & can swing it, go for the tour because it will be much more stable to use. If you prefer the lighter whippier weight of the 305, go for that one.

Also depends on how much customisations you are likely to use. The lighter one will give you more room to customise.

IMO the regular pure strike 16X19 (3rd) has enough mass and high swingweight for excellent stability. It is not so much whippy compared to the 2nd gen project one.

If you really want a higher static weight as well as swingweight, go for the Tour, but I think the regular pure strike is already very stable and powerful. If I play 3 sets game, I will definitely choose the regular pure strike over the tour.

i came from a racquet that was about 340g and 8 pts headlight but I switched to the regular 16x19 (3rd gen). I put a tecnifibre leather grip on it. I find it very stable, quite powerful, and surprisingly quite comfortable. I have struggled with golfers elbow in the past but have not had an issue with the pure strike, it feels crisp but muted. It does feel more head heavy than my previous racquet but I enjoy that more than i thought i would. For some reason I really enjoy the grip shape also. I came from a tecnifibre racket in L4 and the pure strike is L2 and the smaller babolat grip just feels more comfortable.
